I have lived at Cedar Place Apartments for about 5 years. Carmen is our new and awesome property manager!
She works extremely hard to follow up with any maintenance requests,resident issues, and is lovely to talk to. I still love the location, There is a warm and welcoming club house(with view of pool), pool table, and gym equipped with excellent exercise bikes, tread mills, weight area.(also has v.large mounted TVs so you can watch Tv while you exercise.

If I could give lower than 1 star I would. I was moved into a dirty/messed up apartment and nothing was done to rectify the situation. My front door has been broken for nearly 2 months and still no one has come to fix it. There's a mentally unstable person living beneath me who I've had to call the police on multiple times since moving here and although the leasing office has been made aware of him and the harassment nothing has been to evict him or move me to a different building. I can not wait until my lease is over.

I literally cannot leave a negative enough review. I ignored the reviews here and I was wrong. Firstly, go look at all the profiles filing positive reviews. Several are fake profiles that are filing apartment reviews weeks apart. This is a gross, run-down apartment complex that throws cheap fixes onto gaping problems and it has resulted in issues like, for instance, my neighbors getting flooded. Today, I was told my rent was late after they cashed my check. I have been filing maintenance requests since July to have my apartment's AC repaired, and for pest control to fill in damage in the wall that

The management should have some shame calling it a 'LUXURY APARTMENT'!!
The most pathetic place I have ever lived in. The fridge is leaking and the dryer his not working since day one and till date they haven't fixed it. All they ask you to do is - place workorders online and all they do themselves is - mark the work orders as 'completed' without even working on them. The new property manager Alex is very ill mannered, rude and does nothing good for the apartments. I have been sending emails to the management and jrk properties since 2 weeks now and they have the audacity to dodge all the emails

Absolute worst apartment complex in the area. Since day one this place has been a disaster. On move in the apartment was still being painted and was not ready even though we had requested to move in a week late and told no. The apartment was filled with issues that required fixing but it took the complex over a month to come out and fix them. On top of that the apartment was filled with fruit flies from day one. Since moving in we have seen mice in the apartment and when reported it took over a month for the pest control company to come out because “they only come out on certain days”. The

PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE! Worst place ever. It's been almost 2 months since I moved in and maintenance has not been able to resolve even one work order. It's crazy - they don't pick up calls, respond to voicemails, or be in office. The property manager Matt who was always "out on property" and never available - he eventually left the job and the new property manager Alex is so rude and never gets done with his conference calls.
At first I thought the previous comments were an exaggeration but they are true. This place is horrible!! No stars at all.

DO NOT APPLY HERE!!!!!!!!!! I applied in April and got denied which was not my issue… my issue is that I put down a $500 deposit. I was told since I got denied that I would be mailed a check for the $500!! It is not July 1st and still no check. I have left numerous messages and have emailed twice.. No call back,No response to my emails!! This is totally unprofessional and not good business practices. No one has $500 to just give and not get back.. So again I say DO NOT APPLY it’s not worth the hassle….

Lived here for 1.5 years. Initially, the old managers in 2018 were great to work with and would solve any/all problems. Once Nathaniel left in 2019, this place really went down hill. Understand you get what you pay for. All units are old and desperately need to be renovated. Worst part of Cedar/JRK, they took over 3 months to get the deposit back. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Columbia Choice across the street is way better!
