I’ve lived here since 2015. Started in a bottom floor 2 bedroom 2 bath and eventually transferred to a 3 bedroom townhome. It’s an older property so maintenance issues should be expected, but Kenny and Pedro… are excellent at addressing the issues in a timely manner. They are both great, both have an open door policy and go above and beyond for their Residents. I have never felt unsafe here and it’s in an amazing location.

If there is a less than 1 star I would rate this apartment at that. KENNY, the property manager is very unprofessional, and so is their office staff, Ashley. I rented here because I needed my daughter to go to Running Brook Elementary school and my landlord needed to sell the condo I was in.
There is ZERO PARKING. There aren't enough parking spots for the number of residents. So when you come home after work, and on the weekends...nada!

I had to change my review, I don't know what has happened in this community within the last year, but I was driving through this past weekend to get a feel of the community before I apply. So glad I did! Cars parking all over the place, I wasn't able to drive in the parking lot because there were cars double park in the road and even in the cold, people hanging out. They didn't even care if they was blocking cars. I went to 7/11 across the street, which is very convenient and one of the residents told me to look somewhere else, they told me that if you want a parking space in front of your home

During our stay at The Brook in Columbia, we had a few issues that were eventually rectified, but not in a timely manner. We always made it a point to pay our rent early or on time. In addition, we never had any complaints from other tenants. However, as soon as it’s time to move out, the leasing office decides to be difficult. We did not receive a move-out acknowledgement letter until the day before our scheduled move out, which was a year from when we signed our lease. Therefore, we never broke our lease. In the acknowledgement letter we received, it stated that we had to call at least a week

I have been living here for 5 years as of this month, I really love living here. The staff is really nice and understanding. My only issue is my next door neighbor which has nothing to do with the property or the staff. The maintenance response is exceptional. I did have an issue with maintenance in the past but that was under old management.

Clean grounds/building, family friendly environment. The best responsive maintenance team. They have a website to pay rent and put in maintenance requests. Excellent customer service from the management. Rent is a bit pricy but that's with any decent apartments in Columbia area. Love that dumpsters are near by and mail box inside in the building for the apartments.

I have been waiting for some time now to get some of my maintenance requests to be taken care of, and it seems like no one is addressing any of these issues with the townhouse I am renting. I am now very disappointed because I thought this would be a nice place to live, considering I have a friend that is renting an apartment that has had minimal issues.

I have called, emailed, and tried to make an appointment for a tour or just even a sit down visit to talk about apartments currently available, anything! But it's been 3wks without a reply. I showed up one day just to see if someone was there and there was a UPS note on the door, apparently the reason why I haven't been contacted is b/c no one is… there obviously. I understand if you're currently running at full occupancy, but at the very least I expect professionalism and the courtesy to at least respond with an email telling me this. I just want to say thank you to the whole team of The Brook at Columbia . There was a fire in my building. I had water damage in my apartment. The staff at this property is the best now under new management. The office staff did everything I asked of them to make sure my place was as good as it was the first day I moved in that over 10 years ago. They painted my kitchen dinning room laundry area and even my front door. They also replaced my carpet in my whole unit. I could not be more pleased with all they done to make my place feel like home again. The contractors and maintenance crew cleaned

I love the staff and have had no problems when putting in work request. The grounds are well kept and the appearance when you enter is inviting. The parking at times is challenging since I am a senior women and work at night sometimes and have to come home to search for parking. Hopefully maybe in the future each resident will be assigned ONE… parking space. But overall I enjoy living in this community which I have returned to after many years. I lived in one of the large townhomes and raised my children here in the 80's. It has been updated and I love the improvements.
