Clary's Crossing

Very unresponsive to a simple availability and pricing inquiry...
After going in person to inquire about availability and pricing, was told the unit coming available for a rental in 2 weeks, wouldn't be available to show for another week...Temp lady promised to call back with pricing information for a short term rental, as she didn't have it available on day of my visit. Not only didn't she call back, I called the Columbia leasing office and the corporate office in Atlanta for two days thereafter with no success at obtaining pricing information...(some well kept secret apprarently)

Clary's Crossing is the worst renting experience I have ever had the pleasure of having. Management here is incompetent and will not even send you an email if they have knocked down your door due to a fire in your apartment, and they won't even tell you the fire occurred! They lack professionalism and do not know how to properly answer questions if pressed on issues. I was also lied to when on a virtual tour of a different unit that I would have updated appliances and hardwood flooring, and found that my apartment had carpet and appliances from the early 2000's. I would highly recommend anyone

If thinking about moving here, I advise one to consider how much you value morality, customer service, and exemplary ethics from a company.
Once first showing interest in this community, the leasing agent gave a quote of $1419 for fourteen months living in a fully renovated one-bedroom unit, and advised me to put in an application and put down a security deposit to hold this unit because they were going fast. So I did, and the next day I went to tour the unit. After going and touring the apartment, that was NOT the unit

Living Here At Clarys Crossing Has Been A Wonderful Experience. The Management Team Are Very Helpful. And The Maintenance Staff Are Right On Time When You Need Them.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Worst management ever. I was going to move here, sign the lease to the apartment just to find out 12 days before moving in that the apartment given to us, the tenants aren’t leaving. So therefore they have nothing available.and they didn’t communicate this, I found out from trying to get BGE service and they said the apartment was not vacant. Why would you showcase an apartment, promise a move in date, have me sign a lease, just for it not to be available and you have no idea when it will be. Smh do not do it to yourself, very unprofessional and created a huge inconvenience

The way that they treat the staff is unprofessional and unethical. Many practices go against equal employment opportunities. The maintenance supervisor earl is a chatty patty snake who even talk about his own sister and nephews as no good, this guy give the narrative that hes the only man on the maintenance team that does everything ,anika the manager is lazy, all she does is sit and give orders and never walk the property to see active drug deals going on! While earls is doing side deals with residents to sell his drugs . Future applicants this is a fraudulent company.

Recently at Clarys crossing there was a big fire and several units were damaged. My apartment was completely destroyed and I barley made it out. The leasing office never reached out to offer me a new unit , actually they never reached out to me at all. They offered other residents in my building with less damage a new place. The leasing office lady (Hope) explained to my mother ( yes she discussed my personal finances with another adult, Infront of other people at the leasing office) she told my mother because I was late with my rent 1 x during the pandemic that they didn’t offer me a place.

This is my first apartment by myself..and the leasing office has been wonderful to me since moving in last July. They’re always helpful and the maintenance guys always get the work you need done, done. If you put in a maintenance request early in the morning, their come the same day.. but if u put it in late, their come the very nxt day. Also the leasing office is lenient, like they give you till the 7th to pay your rent, but if u need more time they ask that you either call or email them how long u need. I am very glad to be here with great people working here as well.

I had a lovely experience living at Clary's Crossing. I love my spacious one bedroom with a den which is the size of a second bedroom, my balcony, the high ceilings in the unit, the in-unit washer and dryer and how close to things like walking trails, theater, and shopping the place is. Working with the office was the absolute best part because of the friendly staff.
Definitely recommend this place! Definitely recommend living in Columbia, a planned community. :)
