The leasing manager Aj was a nice person and very cooperative . However, my brief encounter with the property manager tiana was the worst customer treatment I have ever received in my life. After My first visit to the apartment I was trying to tell her about the safety concern I had for my autistic son. There is a big column inside the bed room and this is a clear danger for my son. She was not ready to hear my concern and stating that it is my responsibility to check the room before signing the lease. I was trying to explain to her that at the time the apartment was not available and We didn

The apartments themselves are very nice. Management is unresponsive to complaints. Residents play loud music and leave trash in elevators and around the property. Fire alarms go off regularly for no reason. Elevators take a very long time. Often difficult to get your packages since automated system is often faulty. Don't recommend this building.

My stay here has been really good for the most part. I haven't had any major issues, and I've lived in multiple units over the years. I really can't complain.

Applied, got approved, changed my mind and decided to go somewhere else. Leasing office got sour and refuses to give me back my deposit which I paid to apply. They ignore all of my emails, calls, and messages. Whenever I show up, they tell me it's been sent but been about a month and a half and still havnt recieved anything. They stole from me. I dont know who's pocket it's going to but theres something corrupt about this place. Do not apply unless you are sure you want to live here. Otherwise, all prospects consider your money gone for good.

Update: received my deposit 2 months

The only thing that is positive about this apartment is the view from the East Market building. Other than then that, I have HAD IT with management. I have stayed here 2 years and I am so happy to be out.

From Bozzuto to Avenue 5, service SUCKS. My emails never get a response. Alysia never replies to me. The guy before her, Tim Colbert was the height of unprofessional. Why is it ok to ignore the calls, messages, and emails of your renters?!?! Are my concerns not valid?

Last time it took them 6 weeks to deposit my rent check. Was it temporarily misplaced?

The maintenance people are foreign and

Avenue 5 Management has eliminated any positive things I would have to say about living here. I have been a resident here for 2 years and I will be leaving as a result of this management company being here. Their manager did not respond to a serious matter I asked about, and once prodded another time, he didn't even answer my question. I'm going to be taking escalating this to the best of my ability to Avenue 5 leadership so that we can hopefully get this building operated in a way that meets my expectations and my neighbors' expectations.

Pros: Location is ideal, very close to the metro. Having the Whole Foods right there and Pike & Rose not far is also very nice. Apartments have nice finishes and it seems like they're pretty spacious (or at least ours is)

Cons: Literally everything else. Building management changed back in December and there have been quite a few problems that come with it. Leasing office hours do not line up with anyone who works a 9-5 job, and the staff that is in there is never able to answer any questions or provide necessary service, claiming that "the manager will get back to you." I'm giving it two stars for location. The customer service here is abysmal. My company put me here while I'm working in the area. When I came to move in, they gave my keys and sent me off to find the apartment on my own. No tours of amenities. No discussion of the amenities. They didn't even show me where the mail box was, I had to ask. I've called multiple times with the same service request. Even though they tell me they'll send the maintenance guy, it's yet to be fixed.

Friendly staff, convenient location, fair pricing ($2200 for one bedroom in the east tower), 24 hour security guard, Whole Foods and Starbucks in the building.

I really enjoyed my two years at the complex. My only complaint would be it could feel a bit isolated, but I also traveled a lot so I was unable to attend a lot of the resident events they had. I really appreciated the concierge and helpful office staff. And the maintenance was always completed timely.

This is a wonderful place to live. The staff is friendly and courteous. I have never seen a maintenance staff so quick to fix and communicate with you at every step. It's amenities are at top of the line and luxurious.
The apartments are located conveniently close to a whole foods, a gym, fine dinning restaurants and to the metro. I can't think of any reason why I would ever move out of this place.

Pros: walk outside your apartment door for whole foods, cvs, restaurants and coffee. Nice building ( new). Luxury feel.

Cons: a lot of rules and uptight community . Their water and sewage bills are outrageous . Their electric meters must be broken because for a 1br my bill legitimately went from $70 to $200 with same usage, if not less. And it wasn't just my apt, everyone had same issue. That is a huge deal. For an expensive , luxury building .... A lot of their features are cheaply built . You have laminate flooring that peels , bathroom showers that accumulate mildew and dirtiness .

Where to begin? Parking is a chore and expensive (God help you if you lose track of time cause it's $$$). The valet staff beats the hell out of the cars they park... Ok I'm not going to lie... I find it amusing when I watch them in the garage in high end cars. Now a non-smoking community... Really? Grow up. We are outside. Go ahead and ban the metro buses and barbecue grills next while you are eating non-salt, gluten free flat bread. In short, I weep for all of the idiotic delicate snobs that flock here.

Now I would like to place a disclaimer that we just moved in and not everything was as perfect as someone would think given this 5 star review. Our move in might of been the worst move-in I've ever had. When you sign up for parking online, in the search box you have to type in Nobe, not just the zip code like it asks for. No one tells you this. You'll be on the phone with rep for a while before they figure this out. When you sign up for cable DO NOT USE Comcast. In case you did, know that they need you to be in the apartment as well as you electronics for them to do any kind of service

Nothing but issues since we moved in - maintenance mostly - and management has no real contigency plan other than to wait and they try to come up with a plan. Wait for washing machine parts (should have been inspected before we moved in), wait for parking to get resolved, wait for plants to be replanted in fall...then winter...then summer, wait for West pool to be open (still no communication about why it is still closed), wait for pest control, wait for emergency maintenance to arrive because we have no power but he lives an hour away. The convenience of living over a Whole Foods doesn't

Great place to live! A trail nearby, wholefoods downstairs, metro 10 mins walk and the best concierge service. Paul, Fillip are always friendly and great to talk to! Kudos to Winston (just started), who offered to call me when the trolly cart was available to help me move my new purchase.

I lived here for over a year and half, and I absolutely loved it. The unit was pretty much brand new when we moved in, and everything was maintained very well (hallways vacuumed every week, elevators everyday).

Convenient location 2 (large) blocks from White Flint metro. I used to frequent (and spend $$$) at Starbucks, Wholefoods, CVS, and Brio way more than I'd like to admit.

The amenities were great: 2 pools, courtyard with grills and a fire pit, free Starbucks coffee, fantastic and clean gym, a great lounge with plenty of seating, and a rec room with a pool table, kinect, and kitchen

I was here at a pet sitter, taking care of a few dogs. The property is well kept front desk is super courteous to tenants and prospective tenants (not as much to visitors). Keep in mind this is the location by the Whole Foods, not the tall tower.

The units here are a decent size but a little expensive. The location is desirable as it's not a far walk to White Flint metro. You're also in the square with a few restaurants and stores. The Whole Foods is very big and has a selection bigger than most Whole Foods in terms of the grill, hot bar, cold bar and selection.

I didn't really

I moved in to the East tower at the end of June..and I have to say I've been pleased so far!

Rent is a little high for the size of the apartments you get, but it's definitely livable and everything is brand new as it was only built a few years ago! Also, it's in a great location...nice neighborhood and right off of Rockville Pike with plenty of restaurants and shops around! It's also about a 10 minute walk to the White Flint Metro station and a 20-minute metro trip to DC.

The staff at the front desk are AMAZINGLY friendly and helpful! They always greet me when I walk in

I have lived in crappy apartments for long enough therefore the bestie and I decided to splurge for our living situation and finally get a "real" place. We looked everywhere (Monterey, Wentworth, Fenestra, etc).

I first requested information online and got a call from a leasing agent. Before I could get any questions in, he was so anxious to tell me about all the amenities. Seriously pushy. Ok so we went to look at it. Beautiful, BUT let me tell you, unless you have money to burn, this place is not worth it. Driving in and out of the street is terrible as there is only one major light
