This place is ok. Location is beautiful.
Maintenance is very responsive.
I will say there are some cheap finishes, somehow they have a wallpaper over the cabinets instead of say, painting them? I know because they are starting to crack.
The plumbing and heating are bizarre.
You have to adjust some knob in the closet ensure the heat is on. Also my shower is often cold and they said to turn the heat down, because water shares same system as heater?
Pretty annoyed by the office. They ask you to be environmentally friendly, turn off lights, turn down heat. Yet they leave the pool across from my

This place was on top of maintenance for us never had issues until we left. We left this place super clean but it seems like they have no clue what normal wear and tear is, we did not get our full deposit, but for future tenants please make sure you take pictures and write down everything on move-in checklist and I mean everything that you see like scuff marks on wall, spots under toilet seats, chipped cabinets, etc and make sure to have a copy or scan it before you turn it in. We moved in during COVID time, I turned my checklist at leasing office on time and when we left, they claim we didn’t

I’ve been looking forward to writing this review for a month or so, because I have to say I have tremendous respect for the management and team at Dakota Ridge. Just finished moving into a larger unit after the past 2 years living here. The new team has done a very professional job handling the issues for me, getting me set up, and taking pride and good care of the property. The views are great, the property and apartments well apportioned, and the residents in the community are respectful and friendly. It’s a safe place, near the schools, trails and mountains. Great location but that is all. The parking here and mail situation are a nightmare. You have to pay to receive your mail, and the service for the parcel locker system is really difficult to work with, when it is working. (There will be days you can’t access it to receive your mail). If you don’t work from home or get home early, you’ll have to park across the complex in whatever spot you can find.

This review is focused on the maintenance crew here at Dakota Ridge Apartments. I appreciate the quick turnaround and high quality of work these guys do day after day. Just wanted to bring attention to the fact that whenever I have requested their (maintenance crew) attention for an issue at my apartment they fix the problem right the first time and leave no trace except for the calling card they leave behind. Its a mutual respect between us that in this day and age is becoming a rarity.

I moved in October of last year so this is definitely long overdue. Sean was the person that showed me around helped me through the whole process with patience and understanding and I never felt rushed. I have not lived in an apartment for a long time and living here does not feel like apartment living. The leasing staff has been amazing. Their response time is quick and very helpful. The views here are amazing.
I also want to give a shout out to the maintenance team in this complex very professional and quick response. They are so friendly and they do a wonderful job.
