Not a huge fan of Fontainkakes. Seems to me, it is no more than a rundown deserted old western type of set up and complex. The view is not that of fountains, but more like a view of dumpsters that take up parking spaces, trash and perhaps, used hypodermic needles and caps. Last but not least, nice smelly hot piles of landmines everywhere [dogmess]. A gorgon MAY crawl from her cave at the complex every now and then, so there is not to much too look at as far as sites that appeal to the eyes. In my opinion, it's one of the spots in town that is ""LOW LIFE" as said by futurama and the weekend in there

Currently live at Fountain Lake and had my AC go out on Saturday. The maintenance team was very professional and quick with getting me up and running again. They had to order parts, but wasted no time when the parts came in and got them installed and the system up and running. They are an awesome maintenance team and always very helpful!

I lived at Fountain Lake for a total of about 3 years. When I first got there the grounds and atmosphere was great! I loved my apartment but like most comments on here I have to agree with the fact that the property has let itself go. Management will belittle you if you have questions or flat out won’t respond to you. If you are looking for an apartment you might want to skip over this one.

Love the maintenance guys here! Their response time has always been quick and they've gone above and beyond on multiple occasions. I love living here and the experience is exponentially better than any other place I've lived.
They even have regular activities and opportunities for the tenants - such has having a dentist come by periodically, fun holiday things, and food trucks.

I have lived in several different apartment communities in the area and i have never had a property manager show the level of care i have seen Sylvia display not only for me and my family but for others that live in the community of Fountain Lakes as well. I had very unique family circumstances hit me shortly after moving in and after informing Sylvia of my situation she has gone above and beyond to help out. I am truly grateful to her and all of her staff her at Fountain lakes from Rachel and Jim in the office to the Maintenance guys finding my keys i had lost and being able to trace it back to

I dont live here but had my car towed from here. They have 6 available Visitor spaces, 3 of which are taken by residents second or work vehicles. The parking lot was empty except for the visitor spaces so I parked as close to the visitor spaces as I could, which was just 2 spaces away. I arrived there after 10pm and my car was towed at 2:45am. Now I'm out $190 because of this shady complex. Now I know why residents are not renewing. Terrible business practice.

Our lease ended today and we lived there for two years. we had to deal with the WORST case of roaches i've ever seen. also they have a termite problem. we also had to deal with rats for four months, and when we did a walk through of our empty apartment yesterday to make sure we had everything ...... we found another dead rat in the water closet. and there's a small spider problem too. also we aren't sure what caused it but my roommate and i killed seven or eight of those HUGE flies in one night. we think they came out of the vent or something since neither of us left the back door

I am not one to do this but I honestly wish I could rate this place a 0. The management has no compassion for residents. They do not care at all. I woke up to go to work and my car was towed after trying to receive a parking sticker & being told “we are not in your phase yet.” We were told we had received parking permits when we first moved in & did not receive them even after asking if we needed them. The management kept giving the run around and saying basically they did not believe us. Also, if you have visitors make sure they get there in time to have a parking space in the visitors bc

Roach roach roach in the buildings you pay for pest control in the two years I've been there I never seen one no security cameras nor gates there was a dead/murder about a year ago /body found right by the complex . If you call the office good luck because you never get them I don't even bother I just walk down with whatever issues . Parking parking parking oh my god if you have more than one vehicle forget about it you get one covered spot and then its every man for themselves in the evenings !!!! My yearly renewal went up 230$ !!!! Yes I kid you you not 230$ for no ceiling fans popcorn

I did the entire move online Sylvia, Rachael and Jim were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to meet my needs and to make me comfortable with my move all the way from NY. They took the time to make me feel like I was taken care of. I moved it at the beginning of this month and I wanted to express my utmost gratitude to this team of amazing individuals. The apartment is wonderful, the area is wonderful and full of everything you can possibly need at a 5 min drive (or less) the facility itself is very clean and the maintenance guy Vaughn is very kind and on point he took the initiative

I have to give it to one star to post this but I would not give it a star if I couldn't. There is a lot of homeless people going through the dumpster by the main road I was visiting a tenant here there was somebody overdosing on drugs out in the parking lot and pulled the fire alarm and the property manager was just sitting there laughing at the lady which is very rude there was a murder here a couple months ago about a year ago if and also if you live by the road the The complex does not care about that building and if you called the office for the homeless people they just tell you to call

Lived here for over two years, first year we met our neighbor, he was a drug dealer dealig opioids from his apartment we met him because his customers were overdosing on our doorstep, complained, yet the management did not care, had to set up cameras to record his customers myself OFFICE DID NOTHING, Second year was a real hoot, we paid our rent online, since the office and the online kiosk did not communicate we were subjected to repetitive 3 day notices for rent that had already been paid, in retaliation for me contacting the home office on this manager she made my last year here very dreadful

It is a very... corporate run operation. You will get penalized for everything when you move out so make sure you make it look like new again. The standard 20+ page contract applies with all prepayments needed in money order or certified check.
The community fee is low. The rent is high to make up for it. You're in Bradenton, not over by UTC. They were charging ~$1085 for a ~860sqft 1 bedroom. Plus ~$20 for community/trash.

Rude office staff. Office manager couldn't care less about any problems you might have. She knows you signed a contract and can't do anything about it. Every time one of the sinks is used, it makes a terrible jack-hammer noise that shakes the whole apartment. Loud neighbors. Terrible neighborhood. My car was actually smashed in the parking lot. Cars peeling out all hours of the night. To top it off, a key to my apartment was given to some random person by accident. They walked right in while I was sitting in the living room and my 10 month old was sleeping. Of course the office staff

Live here for a year and was disappointed. The Luxury-style apartments were nice and the parking lots were fantastic. But the biggest problem this place has is the noise transference between units. I lived below two different people, and I could hear everything from their closet door to their cupboard doors shutting. If they ever had guests over, I could hear they talking through the floor. It was so bad, that I'd have to leave just to feel like I wasn't living in a dormitory. If your like me and you want peace and quiet - don't move here!!!

We lived here for two years. As soon as we moved in their was a really bad roach infestation (true infestation of German Roaches), which the apartment complex was not able/willing to treat or pay for. So we paid Truly Nolen out of pocket monthly to keep it under control. Other apartments around the complex had the same problem and were paying for their own pest control, so Fountain Lake may want to remove that as a service that they provide.
Aside from that terrifying yet treatable expensive problem, there were two other annoying things-
