Took my car in Sept. Dude says he does quality work. Broke my thermostat sensor and didn't call me or tell till i picked up the car. Then charged 445 dollars for a voltage meter regulator aka battery gauge. Had to take the car again to fix the problem. Kept my car for a week and didn't fix the issue. Jb weleded my thermostat sensor back together like glue. U call that quality work. Still waiting for him to call me to tell me the part came he ordered on Amazon.... stay away if you have a classic car. Don't bring it here.

Scotty is a Miracle Worker! My car was pronounced Dead Needing A New Engine until a neighbor introduced me to Scotty! Scotty is a great at his job! I was having a "Check Engine" light problem with my Nissan. I wasn't able to pass smog because of it. Now I've had this check engine light on for awhile and had taken it to several places and no one was able to diagnose it. He was able to figure it out and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg! He's trustworthy and will get the job done.

I came down to visit family from Seattle and I had my car die. I called AAA they didn't really seem to help that terribly much, then I found Kindred ADR. I left a message at about 7:30 p.m. on a Friday and got a return call at about 6:45 a.m. Saturday morning. I managed to get the car in to Kindred. Scotty looked at it, worked on it, had it repaired in way less time than I thought. He had it for barely 2+hours and got it fixed and dialed in ,and checked on the condition of other things knowing that we still had better than 15 or 1600 miles to get home. We were ready to go on the road for the rest

Mike and his employees are honest and trustworthy. They will do their best to fix your car when you walk in without an appointment. Though making an appointment is appreciated. Mr Shultz Terry and Scott have been here at thia location for many years. MR Shultz is the kindest caring mechanic youll ever meet. So ladies, you have my word they will not tell you something is wrong and needs to be fixed unless it does. His prices are slightly higher but my opinion the cost is worth the comfort of not being ripped off. He constantly giving back to family friends and community.

I took my old Volvo 240 into this mechanics shop, for one thing.. To find me a part. I told him many times that I don't want him to work on my car, change anything, or waste his labor. I left the car over night, because he had to get a Vin # for the part, but he failed. Failed in many things. 1) He didn't find me my part I NEEDED. 2) He did not call me to get authorization before working on my car. 3) He charged me for the hoses he replaced and for an hour and a half of labor. I understand this is how Mike makes a living, so I paid. But will I bring my car back? Absolutely not. Any good mechanic

I was stranded at the arco station wondering what to do. I googled competant mechanics near me. I called, and mike answers the phone, older gentleman with alot of jokes and sayings, big smile. so he determins its my starter right away, and it took awhile to get the part, but understandably, my car is a 1986 nissan 300 zx. so I ask him, I say, I have an oil leak, do youhave any ideas? I WAS BLOWN AWAY. he says yeah, its your pressure sensor for the guage. WHAT??? I have been to three places, firestone on tustin ave,pep boys, and americas tire sensor. firestone filled my oil pan with dye to find

Mike and Scott are very reliable, very trustworthy to take care and service your car. I got a quote from a different mechanic to put on 2 new tires, fix a belt, and a temp sensor and they came in less than half of the other guy and my car runs better than it did two years ago. My entire family goes there and has been going there when we lived in Yorba Linda. Now we live in Newport but i still take my car all the way there because I trust them and they always give me a solid deal! Thanks Mike and Scott!

Mike was extremely nice. He had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with my brakes. It was not the parts. He measured the parts that were on to make sure. Was not the master cylinder. The pads needed changing. He showed me the old parts. The bleeding seemed to go well. But the pedal kept being low to the floor. Turned out to be a part in hydraulics. He charged me only 3 hours instead of the 5 days he kept working on it to find the problem for my extremely low pedal for breaks. He tuned up my engine and changed the oil. I feel he was very honest and took care of me. I will definitely go back

Mike and Scotty saved my car. I have a vintage 1981 Mercedes and after taking it to a terrible mechanic. Scotty diagnosed my vehicle in less than half hour later and it was 2 months at the other place. Being a woman it matters who I trust and I did not get the run around and I was not ignored. They fixed my car and it is running beautifully. I regret not taking it here first I could've enjoyed the car in early summer. Thank you MS import!!

We took my son's car here (260 Z that we're restoring) to have the engine rebuilt. It wasn't done correctly, required two return trips to fix issues that hadn't been addressed, and to top everything off, *SOMEONE* there managed to drop the car onto something else and CRUSHED the gas tank - and then painted over the damage so it wouldn't be noticeable at first glance. Of course, we DID notice it, and when we called them, they denied any knowledge of how it happened. All I have to say is that if you're that unaware of what's happening in your shop, you need to find

Mike has been working on my multiple cars for over 20 years. Yes he is not an expert on all cars, but he is honest, he will get the work done and the customer taken care of. Yes, you can get the work done at your manufacturers dealership, it might be done right there and will cost you twice the price...assuming that dealer doesn't upsell you to some other service you don't need right now. I will continue to take my cars to Mike Schultz for another 20 years..I hope!

I tried this shop because the owner: Mike Schultz seemed like an honest man, but he was not. He misdiagnosed my vehicle, he made made me buy another part that was not needed. He overcharged me for the part (distributor) and on and on and on. Then he finally said that he couldn't fix the car and I needed to take it to the local dealer because he figure out how to fix it. Watch out for this guy! He's not an honest person, he'll rip you off blind.
