He saw enough unnecessary inflation of pricing, lack of dedication to the job, and the need for additional customer service.
Hence, in 1988 he opened his own independent service facility - Exclusive Motors. Ron cares truly about his customers and his 33 year outstanding reputation is a testimony to his commitment to service. ...Took my car in for a slight rattle on the drivers side rear
Ron said it was the catalytic convertor which I accepted, I was a 30 year customer and trusted him even although I didn't see him test drive the car!
The next day I went online to find out the signs are of this.....loud noise when turning on engine due to INTERIOR disintegration , getting worse over time, no loud noise and the rattle had come and gone over several weeks and everyone who heard it said something loose, engine light which was working hadn't come on and I had passed the smog test 3 weeks prior

These guys are the best. They are honest and fair in price. I had my car at another location for 4 months and these guys were able to fix the car in a week. Before I took my car here I used to take it to the dealer and they would tell me I needed my transmission serviced and when I brought it here they were honest and told me the type of oil I had and it did not need to be serviced yet. If you own a Mercedes don't look anywhere else just go here.

First I want to note that Exclusive motors was recommended by Haydon Bros just down the street. I took my Mercedes here to have a leak fixed. The quick visual diagnoses given to me was that the injector pump seals needed to be replaced. After picking up the car I got home and noticed it was still leaking and still wet underneath. I was told that the technician working on the car did not follow the proper procedures that Exclusive Motors has in place which was that the wet areas should have been cleaned. From my basic knowledge of mechanics everything should have been cleaned before to be able to

Cannot even put into words how stellar this business is. They truly think of their customers first and put their all into successful repair! My Mom's older Benz had a tricky issue - and Ron worked & worked at it (without doing unnecessary repairs) until all was working as it should! They assisted with the back and forth of the car and my Mom is able to maintain her independence with the familiar car that she loves!. Thank you Ron & Shelly from the bottom of my heart! Ron and his team are awesome! They provide terrific service (loaner cars available) at prices far below the dealerships. QUALITY IS THE SAME!!! Just bought my 2nd Mercedes from John & Ron at Exclusive and that's two in one year! Prior to that, they serviced my 2002 LS 430 till it hit 250K miles. Its hard to put into words how great these guys are, in sales they WILL get you the best deal with the best possible rate and their cars are perfect. Its always best to buy one that THEY serviced so you know its been well loved by true professionals. In servicing vehicles, they are number one! I've given their names to others and now, they will go no where else. Don't bother with the rest, these guys are THE BEST!

For you Mercedes (W211) Owners out there read this. One of the most common problems that occur with this series is the display of the "SOS Tele-Aide" (analog) Malfunction Light that appears every time you turn on the ignition. The reason for this could be one of many things but the main reason is because once everything turned digital from analog the MBZ computer thinks it is a malfunction and this light goes on. Quite irritating but it really does not really represent any malfunction at all. In fact in order to turn it off all you have to do is press the upper arrow on the steering wheel

Its too bad I can ONLY give them 5 stars, there should be a higher realm when it comes to the service you get from Exclusive. To put it simple, there is Exclusive, Ron & John and then there is everyone else!!

As a first time customer, I was very impressed with the customer service I received. I dropped my E350 off to have some lights replaced. When I returned to pick up my car the owner shook my hand and said I was ready to go. He didn't even charge me! That's the way to ensure you get a return customer! I'll definitely return when I need work done on my car!

This was my first time taking in my Mercedes 2004 E320 after trying unsuccessfully to have my car diagnosed and fixed regarding an annoying lurching forward when coasting and an intermittent stalling out that no one had been able to correct until now :) Third mechanic was the charm -- Ron was thorough in explaining what was going on and nailed it first time which corrected the problem. Great service and very happy with the end result!

A/C trouble. And, of course, it was the hottest day of the year. Though the shop was super busy after the 4th of July, they found a way to fit me in. Brought car in. Problem quickly/properly diagnosed. Repair made. Problem solved. Car was then ready for me to pick up --- ahead of schedule.

After working on our car twice and through a failure to communicate within exclusive motor's office we went through a waste of time and " a twilight zone moment " ending in not solving the main problem... My wife picked up the car and found out they had damaged / broken the drivers side door. They refuse to be held responsible / fix their damage done to our car... We're by no means through with this issue ...

I have been taking my car to Exclusive Motors around 7 years now and I would never consider going anywhere else. Even now that I live in Pasadena I make that trek to ensure I am going to Ron!! It's hard to finding someone you can trust, especially with how expensive vehicle upkeep can be. Ron always takes the time to explain what's going on with my car... I bought my last two Mercedes Benz vehicles from Exclusive Motors John M. I've had them also serviced here for the last decade. Top notch in both areas. Not pushy at all. Very fair prices compared to other shops. Definatley less expensive than dealers. Ron, Shelli, John and the entire crew over there at Exclusive Motors are fantastic. We started with Exclusive as a recommendation from a friend. We have three Mercedes ranging from a 2001 to a 2013. We used the "first time" coupon on their website and tested out the service. That was 8 years ago and we still use Ron and the team for all repairs. I will call Ron about repairs even if the car is out of state and requires immediate service by another shop. I also purchased a pre-owned from Exclusive because I knew I could rely on the car being safe and checked out completely. We have had zero issues or concerns. The prices are reasonable and seem to be lower than local dealer service

We are new to the area so were hesitant about trying out a new mechanic for our Mercedes. I'm glad to report that Ron and Exclusive Motors have taken good care of us so far. They are honest and dependable, they deliver the work as promised at the rate that was discussed. Ron even gave us information on a Mercedes recall that will probably save us a lot of money.

I wouldn't trust these guys to fix a shovel!
They sold my girlfriend a "restored" Volkswagen. Turn signals don't work, taillights don't work, brake lights don't work, fuel gauge doesn't work, clutch slips, wipers are broken, odometer is disconnected, and according to the local Volkswagen shop the "restored" engine probably hasn't ever been restored ... ever!

Ron has taken care of all of my Mercedes for over 20 years. You will never find anyone in the automotive business that is more knowledgeable than Ron. The real bonus is that he truly cares that you get the best deal to repair your car....and he goes out of his way to insure it.
If you are still frequenting your local dealer, you are being overcharged and possibly paying for unnecessary repairs. I took my car into the dealer for a "free" oil change and they found almost $2000 in repairs that Ron quickly diagnosed as unnecessary.
