When we planned a recent trip to Ogunquit, we decided to stay at The Mariner Resort based on the favorable reviews it got on Trip Advisor. We certainly made a good choice. We originally booked two nights, but liked The Mariner so much, and found so many fun things to do in the area, that we extended our stay to 10 nights.
Ogunquit is a charming seaside village nestled amid sandy beaches and rocky shoreline. Ogunquit is a vibrant cultural center where you can visit a world famous Summer Theatre, go gallery hopping, visit significant museums, or view an artist at work. Ogunquit is famous for Perkin's Cove fishing village with its fabulous shopping and the Marginal Way footpath.

My family and I have stayed at The Mariner for many years. We just got back from our trip, and our stay this time was not enjoyable. We went to Maine this time around to spread my dads ashes, so our emotions were already
on over drive. We had a to cancel a room, and we did so within 7 days, per the policy of the hotel, and they refused to refund my grandparents. My family had been going to this hotel for 25 years, and they will no longer be scamming our family. They should be ashamed.

Have been staying at the Mariner for several years now, but this stay was a bit different. There was no continental breakfast, unlike the past. The hotel stated it was because of Covid, however, when I talked to the lady behind the desk she said it was a big expense to the hotel. She said they probably won’t have it again. They should be providing breakfast given the price of the hotel. They can individually wrap items, like other hotels are doing.
Not only that, but the group of 7 I was in all agreed the beds and pillows were really uncomfortable. This is something I haven’t found to be true

We made a reservation for July 27 - July 28, 2021... online. We had requested the second floor. We were advised that there was only a first floor, Room # 108 available. When we arrived later that evening the front desk stated that they gave Room 108 to another guest and assigned us Room 219. We are disabled and did not know there were so many steps in order to get to Room # 219. We asked if they had a first floor available but was told they were booked. Later that evening of July 27th, we could detect cigarette smoke coming into our room. My significant other exited our room door to find that the

Really enjoyed our stay here. The room we had was immaculate, one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever been in. The views from the balcony were great and we enjoyed the pools and relaxing in the lounge chairs out looking the marsh and ocean. The housekeeper was very friendly and always greeted us. You can take a short walk from here to the beach or nearby restaurants. There is also a trolley service stop next to the main driveway.

I'm really enjoying my stay at The Mariner Resort. My family lives near by. I usually don't stay at resorts when I visit. After spending the past school year teaching remote kindergarten from my basement, I was desperate for a getaway. While my daughter stays with the family, I'm enjoying 3 nights in a King Suite. My room is very clean, plenty big enough, has a private balcony, a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I brought breakfast foods with me and the hotel has complimentary coffee and tea in the mornings. My family joined me at the resort's pool with no problem at

I stayed here last weekend. It was the first vacation I was able to take my son on, and it was great. The motel was very clean, and the room was very spacious, and had a full sized refrigerator and a microwave. There is coffee offered in the morning near the pool. The pool was nice, and the temperature was great. I had no issues, and would definitely stay there again. I hope to return in the summer!

When you are traveling to a vacation location in off season you never know what you are going to find. Well I am very happy to say last night was a big time successful find.
To start with the room rate was reasonable the staff was very friendly and miracles of miracles the front desk was able to provide more than just a pizza or fast food joint for a dinner recommendation. It has become a pet peeve of mine that the kids at the desk don't have a clue about good places to eat. I guess we will just need to rely on Yelp.
The room was large and clean with a full size refrigerator and microwave

A comfortable, spacious motel in Ogunquit. It was clean and well maintained. They had tiled floors and nicely painted walls in clean colors which enhanced the beach feel. They offer adirondak seating to overlook the marsh, have an outdoor and indoor pool, and is conveniently located to restaurants and shops. There is also lots of parking. The bathroom has shower and a nice deep tub. Conjoining rooms are offered, and each room has chairs and a table outside as well.

We spent three glorious nights here for our Wedding anniversary in September. My single regret about coming to Ogunquit and staying at this hotel, is that I waited until I was 59 to make this trip. So many weekends wasted in other New England towns at inferior hotels.

From the moment of check in, where we met the most delightful young woman who gave us all sorts of helpful information, to when we checked out and that same lovely person took our keys, everything was pretty mich perfect.

I had read reviews that talk about how clean the hotel is but you can't begin to understand just how

We're sure glad we did our homework before booking accommodations for our 3-night stay in Ogunquit---it certainly paid off. Well, for the most part. We were very satisfied with the Mariner Resort, with its fine facilities and attractive grounds. The exception being that there were a couple of incidents with extremely unruly and obnoxious children and their undisciplining parents, who were almost as wild as their kids (more on this below).

Our room had two very comfy Queen beds, was kept very clean (as were all the grounds in general) and looked to be recently painted/redecorated. The

I don't usually bother reviewing hotels, but we had a very pleasant stay here and I think they deserve extra credit for that. What I was really struck by was how friendly, helpful, and pleasant the staff were. They seemed very genuine and nice. We were able to park before and after check out, which saved us having to pay for parking for the beach and was really convenient (still a bit of a hike if you're walking, but doable). It's a great location, centrally located, they do a very decent breakfast spread, the rooms were spacious and clean. I really liked the outdoor patio with

Clean Room
* Very clean!
* Good full size fridge which was a little strange since there was NO oven or counter tops
* Two queen beds (an update needed soon)
* Very dated Air conditioning and if you are short grab a chair
* Flat screen TV with a good selection of channels
* Bed was comfortable but not the best I've slept in
* negative was you could really hear the people walking above you

Resort:
* Absolutely Gorgeous (and clean) outdoor pool with 0 entry way
* Lovely chairs on and enjoy the views of the bogs and the ocean in the far background... Moody beach I believe
* Continental breakfast

My friend and I booked a suite to stay at the Mariners for the first wknd of June; my father in law passed suddenly on 5/28, so I called to cancel, 4 days prior to our stay instead of the required 7 days. Scott refused to give us our money back, stating that if I had reserved the regular rooms, he would've but since I reserved the suite, and they had to turn people away, he couldn't do anything (FYI, the price difference between those two rooms were like $20-50). Even under the circumstances, he would not even offer us a credit to use for another night. Scott did say that I could email

Stayed 1 night in October-- wished we had longer to stay here and explore the area. The room was large, beds comfortable, full refrigerator and microwave. Had a good view of the ocean ( at a distance) and beautiful sunrise view. We did not realize what a beautiful area this is-- explored a little, but really a lot to see and do within close driving distance. Breakfast included homemade pumpkin bread or another breakfast bread, as well as yogurt and cereals. Manager was very nice and helpful. Price was right for us on a New England tour.

We stayed there for two nights and was very impressed with the accomodations. The room couldn't have been any cleaner. And that's saying alot as my wife is a clean freak and it passed her test with flying colors! I agree with one of the other reviewers that the shower was a pleasant surprise. Lots o water pressure! You will have a great view of the river marsh/ocean no matter what room you are in. Owners were very pleasant and accomodating. We highly recommend the Mariner and we plan on staying there next year as well.

I stayed here at the Mariner's for one night and it was very pleasant. Great location and view, nice swimming pool (one indoor, one outdoor, and a hot tub). While we were there, the regular pool was being serviced.

The staff was very nice and helpful! 24-hour coffee was available at the lounge.

The rooms have a small refrigerator and a microwave -- very nice to have those amenities. It was very clean, and the beds were comfy. Great shower. Parking close to the rooms.
