I've only been to three classes so far, but I feel AMAZING after. I gained about 30 lbs during the pandemic, and desperately want to get back in shape. I don't feel like myself, and I'm not feeling great about the appearance of my body - but I know that I can get it back in shape.
I've taken two endurance classes and one mashup. And even after one class I feel a difference in the way I carry myself, my form when walking/hiking/taking other spin classes. Brian pushes me enough to where I feel challenged, and am able to do more than I thought - but in a fun and encouraging

This place changed my body! Before I got married, I committed to a steady (5x p/wk) 4 month attendance in both the endurance and the mashup and it changed my body. It is HARD (Especially Brian's class) but you will feel so good after. I got lean, my muscles were longer and I lost inches around my whole body. An hour of this a day can truly be life altering. I truly didn't think it was genetically possible for me to change my shape that much. I'm so glad I found Fitmix and grateful to all the teachers for getting me in the best shape of my life. It's a positive, encouraging,

The Mashup is a really freaking hard workout but when considering their expensive monthly membership, the studio is lacking for me. There's never any parking (despite the "ample parking" claim). No towels, not a lot of classes, and only two kinds of class to choose from. Also for such small classes I'd like a little more personal attention. Tl;dr: Great for class pass, not worth the monthly membership.

Fitmix's Endurance Pilates class is challenging and fun. I took the 7:30pm class with Cat on Wednesday night and really enjoyed it. We used the reformer in so many different ways. This is not for pilates beginners, it's good to have a nice foundation before taking the class. Be prepared to feel the best post-workout soreness the next day. 💜

Loved my morning Endurance Pilates class with Audrey! What an incredible workout, and what an incredible instructor. It was my first time so she really made me feel welcome and helped make sure I was doing everything properly, without making me feel dumb. The workout was also amazing and I'll definitely be feeling it. I loved it and would definitely do a class with her again.

This review is mainly based on a bad experience during Endurance Pilates with Kelci Gilmour.
I had been going here off and on with Classpass and considering a membership. It's a really good workout, but in my opinion, I think a studio instructor's mission should be to help their students feel better upon leaving than they did coming in. Kelci did the complete opposite.
Another student was acting like an instructor and talking to me during the reformer class which was pretty annoying. My form was off which the instructor, Kelci, helped me fix and that was that. The reformer I was sitting

This place is the spot! I have only come here for pilates and swear by it! I will go no other place now. Their endurance and mash-up (combo of running and regular pilates) classes hit the spot. Want abs? COME HERE! They also have great teachers: Andrea, Kat, Trina, and more. Everyone I have taken rocks! Even if they aren't my particular teacher style, I still get a great work out. Highly recommend for sculpting and strengthening! Thanks Fitmix :)

I tried Fitmix a few weeks ago because I love HIIT classes and Pilates, and I was not disappointed. Their Mashup class is most well-known, and I highly recommend. If this makes sense, I would try to show up exactly The class starts with the treadmill portion, and the interval training was challenging but not absolutely killer. The treadmills aren't the best in quality, but it's an easy thing to overlook. You're running for 25 mins straight without stopping to walk, which I love because it feels like a true endurance workout while still being an interval class. The Pilates portion

If you only have an hour in your day to workout and you want to make the most of every minute, the Mashup is the program. It's the perfect mix of cardio and strength training. They also have straight pilates classes every other hour which is great because you can mix and match your workout program according to your goals.
The instructors all have different styles so you never feel like you're getting the same workout. I tend to get bored if my workout becomes repetitive. All the Fitmix instructors are great and I've never been disappointed with any of the classes. I highly recommend

What an amazing workout....honestly I'm kind of scared to go back because it was so intense---but it was the kind of workout that you know if you keep at it, you'll just get better, faster, leaner, and all around healthier.
Today was my first experience here, the trainer's name was Brian and he was excellent. He took time to explain the workout, the machines, adjust us all (if we needed it), and push us to push ourselves. It never felt competitive with anyone at any time, but he did strongly encourage us to go beyond our limit. He was empowering and stayed positive "It&apos

Great studio and a great workout!! I absolutely love the mashup - my friend and I got the unlimited package and we do the mashup 3-4 times a week. Such a great way to get in your cardio and then do some strength training on the reformer. All the instructors here are overall really good, but my favorites are Mandalyn and Jasmine! Mandalyn is so sweet, bubbly, and motivating. Jasmine will kick your butt on the weekends too! Love this studio and how close it is to my new apartment.
It also happens to right next to Proof Bakery...dangerous

Can't say enough good things about this gym! Fantastic instructors? Check. Clean? Check. Air conditioned? Yaaaaas! I came here on a one month unlimited voucher and I'm so glad I did. They offer two kind of classes: the mashup and endurance Pilates. The mashup was definitely my favorite bc it's 30 minutes of HIIT on the treadmill followed by 25 minutes on the reformer. Cardio is my jam so I really really enjoyed the mashup. Endurance Pilates is 55 minutes straight on the reformer. Both classes are tough and will leave you sweating n sore the next day. I really maximized my unlimited

I love pilates but I am not getting any cardio. I don't want to join a pilates studio and have to go to a gym to use the treadmill. Fitmix fits the bill! I get both of what I need.
I am not a runner. At all! I hate running. I get winded if I talk and walk at the same time! But when I did the Mashup class, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I guess running as a class with an instructor motivates me more than I would by myself in a gym. And the intervals keep you on your toes.
Then comes the pilates....which is challenging! I love it. I like pilates classes that I build strength on. I want room to improve

FITMIX!!!!!! I did the month unlimited deal with a friend and girl, let me tell you, we got our moneys worth. We went (almost) daily to the 7AM class and on weekends hit up later classes.
INSTRUCTORS
First off, the instructors here are the best. Cannot stress how important it is to have instructors who are paying attention to students' form and trust me, at 7 in the morning I'm not exactly all there. Countless times they saved my newbie butt from injury by always ensuring that I was doing the movements correctly. They're also all super nice, but know how to kick your bum into action

First time at this studio. Signed up through classpass. Great full body workout!
For half the class, you do interval run training including some hill training. The instructors gives beginner, intermediate and advanced paces the group can run but these are just guided. ultimately it's up to you.
The other half of class is Pilates. We worked arms, legs and abs. Definitely finished the 60min class in a sweat. No Pilates socks needed for class.
The studio is clean and modern, and set right in the heart of Atwater Village. All new equipment since Fitmix just recently opened this location

I've been four times via ClassPass and have had four different instructors (even though I keep the same schedule for the most part), which is kind of nice because it keeps it interesting instead of predictable. Not sure if they have a hefty rotation of instructors because they're new or because that's just how they roll, but worth noting!
The studio is clean, the machines are staggered so you don't feel like you're on top of your neighbor, and the Endurance Pilates workout is a good mix of intensity (core and muscle toning) and stretching.
No towels, no showers, but they

Brand spanking new studio. Or at least a month new. Which means its not at it's best, BUT that doesn't speak against the establishment. The bathroom isn't working properly at the moment, but it will! They don't have curtains yet, BUT THEY WILL! Very optimistic about this location. Situated in adorable Atwater Village, Fitmix's proximity to cute shops is awesome. Haven't really tried anything in the area minus the drive-thru Wells Fargo, but excited to do some post exercise exploration. PS I've been wanting to try this studio out because my friends rave about it

Fitmix Studio is a fun and exciting environment. The instructors are knowledgeable and motivating at the same. I workout 5-6 days per week and I was shocked at how challenging the workout was. They can make exercises easier or harder for all fitness levels. If you are looking for a fun new challenging workout check out Fitmix!!
