I would have rated my experience much higher if it had not been for the move-out experience. I had a lot of issues here, all of which were managed in a timely manner, although there were a few issues that could not be resolved and were not. For example, being forced to pay for cable that I didnt want was never resolved and an issue of being towed from an unmarked handicapped parking stall was never resolved and cost me $300- it was later resolved but never recovered the money I put in. I recommend checking your invoice throughly to make sure you are billed correctly! Also, It has been 7 months

Between the horrible management and rude landlady, our experience in living at the highlands was horrendous. This is the absolute worst apartment complex in Waco. The landlady was unhelpful and altogether rude to us every-time we tried speaking to her, but for some reason whenever a male was present she was all of the sudden very pleasant. She could not even spell our names correctly on the lease and misspelled things in her emails. She also misspelled our neighbors name on his lease. This is very unprofessional. She knowingly put us in a unit that was infested with pharaoh ants (which lived inside

So I thought my review posted but it apparently didn't. Polly and Madison and the rest of the crew always take care of you. Maintenance is really good when needed for an issue. The Highlands has improved since I have been here. I've been here over 2 and a half years. They communicate issues like the city cutting off the water. Safety issues. you name it. I like getting the texts and emails. Very helpful.

Since Polly has come in to management things have gotten a lot better for us. We use to live in building four when we moved in back in 2016 and had constant flooding in our apartment. The old management and maintenance people always chalked it up to being our toilet or AC unit. Come to find out it was an entire foundation problem! Polly took initiative and moved us to building six and we haven’t had any problems since! And when there is a minor thing Polly is on top of it! Now with that said, we think the amenities could be better, especially the park and maybe the gym.

I’ve lived in several apartments, but this is by far the best one. I’m not saying it is the greatest thing ever, but at least I can depend on maintenance to respond if I have an issue. Everyone seems to be really nice. Is the price of rent high, sure, but everywhere you go rent is high right now. All in all, I like the place and intend on staying for a hot second

Love the apartment but could have settled for a downstairs apartment. The neighbors underneath us has kids and a dog and are so loud at night and in the mornings. And what I mean loud is they fight alot and the dog barks. You can hear everything that goes on from downstairs cause the walls are so thin. The rent is unbelievable it's getting to be expensive to live in these apartments. There are pothole in the streets coming into the complex.

We are finishing up a two year lease in which we have never been late nor had any complaints against us. From the beginning we were showed a floor plan we would be moving into, once we got ready to move in, it wasn't what we were shown. Manager said those were corporate floor plans. In the time we've been here, we've gone longer without security officers than with, even when some were here they wouldn't do their job. I had complained over eight months about our upstairs neighbors running, banging, jumping, bouncing balls, etc... they finally

I moved here in 2016 and it's been GREAT! The staff is AWESOME! They are very kind and sweet people. They are very quick on getting a problem fixed and making sure their tenants are HAPPY! It's a very safe environment for kids. My son is able to play outside without and problems and he also loves the Highlands as much as I do. I would recommend anyone to live here and look forward to continue stay.
