Sweet Peas Village is a time to be a child through exploring, experimenting, discovering and most of all playing. Our professional staff is selected based on their educational background, nursery school training, teaching experience and sensitivity to the individual needs of young children and infants.

Our mission is to provide childcare in a nurturing and caring environment in which your child can learn through developmentally appropriate activities. The purpose of our program is to create a safe, loving, stimulating, home-like environment that will benefit the child, parent and community.
Services
Sweet Peas Village uses the Project Approach as the base for the Curriculum. In depth research and exploration will take place on particular topics that both the teacher and the children have chosen. This curriculum will provide children with hands on experiences that are meaningful as well as being something that the children can interact with and gather information.
This traditional style farm house was converted into a school in 1996 and is the original building on the property. Home of our full-day programs, the Village consists of infant, yearling, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten classes. Opened in 1998 this historical cottage, resembling a one-room school house, is home to our Nursery School Program.
We are honored to have your family become a part of our program, and want you to get to know us as well. Please read the bios of the educators who will touch the lives of your children. My son a type 1 diabetic who is turning three in March was admitted to the 3-5 year old class this past January. The classroom was closed his first week due to Covid. The second week he was able to attend 2 days. During those two days my son attended class. On the first day my wife was present to help the “teachers” with the diabetes medicine. The teachers told hr to leave because he was doing great. She actually has a video of him drawing a J and how great he did. On the second day we also got similar

Sweet Peas Village is an amazing school! As I help my mom in her classroom , I see the joy on the kids' faces, the enjoyment, and the all the smiles. They are having fun every single day. The kids love the variety of outside play. They have so much fun the winter with all the snow and have even more fun when they are playing with sprinklers, in the pools, and having picnics outside in the summer!

Sweet Peas is a state of the art facility on the outside and yes it has been around for over ten years so it has a little wear and tear on some gates as do all buildings. This past year alone I have seen the buildings painted the gates repaired awnings replaced playgrounds updated ramps replaced carpets replaced to name a few things. There is a Parent Board in place that addresses every concern that is placed in the suggestion box which is open to every parent. The open door policy with the directors and staff and the constant contact from the "My kids Day computer Program which supplies daily
