Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam. Dry eyes affect millions of people in the United States. It is estimated that as many as 4.88 million Americans over the age of 50 suffer from this uncomfortable condition. Everyone experiences dry eye differently because there are so many potential underlying causes. In some cases, the cause is obvious, such as environmental irritants or short-term inflammation.

The staff are really good to me. They always help me out with the doors since I have trouble opening up the doors since I am in a wheelchair.

There is something to be said for ordering your glasses from a local Optometrist. It may cost more, but you get exactly what you need that is property fitted. The after-purchase service is impeccable. You can not put a price on having somebody really care about your vision. Dr Schamber has been my Optometrist for 20 years and has identified numerous conditions that have been dealt with. The preventive health care advise is invaluable

Dr. Tayla Meade was extremely thorough with my children's eye exam. My 12 year old daughter has never worn glasses. The day they were dispensed to her. The optician never checked her frames from behind the ears or taught her how to care for them while my daughter had placed them on the table faced down. I had told the optician multiple times that she's never owned a pair of glasses. Having said that the optician turned her head towards my son and dispensed his glasses the same way but this time he had spoken up telling her that the glasses were sliding off his face. To bend the back pieces

Very disapointed... I wont wear these glasses. The first pair I ordered was too large for my face. They neglected to place the order ....I finally called after waiting three weeks and they re ordered. When I got home with the glasses, I just didn't like them, They told me to come in and I ordered a 2nd pair. I have Insurance that pays most of the cost but upgraded to transitions costing me an additional $150. When I returned the first pair,,,and found a pair that I liked....was told it would be an additional $150 ! I quickly decided on another pair and these are extremely uncomfortable

Ok, so where do I begin.
My son who is 3 and half has been seeing a pediatric
eye specialist in Saskatoon for several years now( not at Vista Eye Care). He had a perinatal stroke and as a result we see a lot of different specialists in Saskatoon for various reasons. The trip to the paediatric specialist is by far the WORST appointment for my son, and for myself. The waiting room is small, uncomfortable, dirty, and unwelcoming for children with sensory issues. Almost every time we had gone there it has been a wait time of 3 to 5 hours from start to finish. By the end, my son is so miserable it

The team at Vista are so welcoming. They get you in and out quickly but you don't feel rushed. They're not pushy and provide great advice that you can decide what you want to do with. If you're looking for a locally owned optometry clinic that provides great customer service, check them out!

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new eye doctor. After reading reviews online and making sure they contracted with my insurance, I made an appointment with Vista Eye Care. I was very impressed with their offices--it was clean, nicely decorated, and had plenty of room in the waiting area (in fact, the whole place is huge).

Vista uses better technology than my previous eye doctor. Instead of dilating my pupils, which I hate and it just seems like an outdated practice, I paid something like $40 to use their special machine to photograph my eye. It was actually pretty cool to see

The optometrist seems to be relatively knowledgeable. However the wait for appointment took 30 days, they then somehow incorrectly entered my date of birth and primary phone number. So after 3 weeks I called and asked if my lenses were in. They said they left a message 10 days ago..must have been on the wrong number. An email and/ or text would have been a better option. Then when I picked up they said it would just be a few minutes I said I would be back in 30 mins, I returned in 45 mins and they said they weren't ready...here I am an hour later.Needless to say I will be driving to Tucson

I've been a patient at Vista Eye care for several years now and every time i call to schedule, I'm given a date that is months away. If they cannot meet patient demands than maybe they shouldn't take new patients. I will be finding a new optometrist. Which is unfortunate because it has nothing to do with the service the actual doctor provides.

This is my second time here (here for my wife's appointment), and just like the first time we were greeted cordially and promptly. The office personnel are efficient and quick. We also had just barely sat down when we got called in. The doctors are friendly. I also liked the fact that we never felt rushed as is the norm with any doctor. There are also lots of choices for eye wear.

I had my annual eye exam at 1 pm on 01/13/18. The staff are friendly and nice and so are the doctors, but they only had one dr on site. They had some emergency walkins and I waited 1.5 hrs to see the dr. This exact experience has happened 2 other previous annual eye exams. My sons also go there and again, they always have significant delays even though you have an appt. I can forgive all that because if someone has an eye emergency, of course that takes priority. Here's the one thing I cannot forgive. I only ever have an eye exam that is covered by my insurance. My insurance does not

Was not happy that they would not fix my lens with out a full exam! When I am not having trouble with the prescription. Just need a lens for my glasses that I broke. Feels like a money grab.

My spouse had an eye exam yesterday and when we left he said something along the lines of that was the best experience. He was blown away and so happy that I picked this place for him. And it was all about the staff, they were all friendly and helpful! He's excited to go back and shop for glasses now! Thanks Vista 😊

Once again had a great visit at Vista Eye Care yesterday morning. I was the first appointment of the day, even arrived about 10 minutes before their posted opening time. And, I still was received warmly and assisted promptly. Got in and out in no time at all. Dr. Williamson explained everything I needed to know and even walked me out....instead of making me figure out the configuration myself!

After moving to the area, I was starting to establish myself as a patient with all new doctors. I was referred to Vista Eye Care from a friend. Vista Eye Care is a beautiful, clean office. I was very impressed by the technology. They have the optomap technology, which takes a photo in the back of your eye. I didn't have to be dilated, which is great because I hate being dilated.
The doctor, which was Dr. Nogales, was very nice and professional. She even found a freckle in the back of my eye that no one ever told or found before. She said with the use of the optomap, we can monitor

Making the appointment was easy and they were able to get me in right away which is very nice when your eye is bothering you. Dr Nogales saw me diagnosed my problem, had new ideas on a couple of chronic issues my eyes have. Both eyes felt better within a day! I'm very impressed and probably will be switching to this office from my Anchorage one!
