My poor kitty has kidney problems and we paid $700 for testing at another Midlothian vet to find the cause.
We took him to THRIVE thinking it would be affordable... $600 for tests we already had done AND they threatened to keep my cat and make me pay boarding on top of it.
He stopped eating on Saturday night (likely due to kidney infection) so I called around to a few Animal ERs because vets aren’t typically open Sundays. They all quoted me anywhere from $500-$2000. I already did all of my Christmas shopping and paid my bills so that was not an option. It was so frustrating to see my baby sit
