I went with my family and was our first time in this winery. The owner Bert is more than amazing. He is a very nice person, and you can notice he really loves his job. Also he is very funny and talkative. Of course every single wine has a unique flavor. We got 5 samples and a free glass. And was when we decided to bough 4 bottles. It will be my stop every single time I go to Fredericksburg.

What a great winery! We got off the bikes after a long bike ride outside Fredericksburg and enjoyed our experience making a wine selection at Fredericksburg Winery. The wine maker was incredible kind and knowledgeable and shared many insights that helped me understand my decision making around wine. We picked the Vertrag wine and are enjoying it poolside at our local accommodations! Thank you!

In the sea of trendy wineries, this place on Main Street has it all: a fabulous storyteller and winemaker to help you pick your tasters, a delicious selection of wines, and a great location in the center of town, no driving needed! Loved the wines, stories and the hospitality. Exploring the many medals and exhibition of wines was also very neat, give yourself a break and stop for a visit or a tasting flight.

We almost gave up on Fredericksburg because of some of the Main Street tasting rooms and the sweet wines. This winery in particular has some
Very sweet wine. The staff is friendly but these are not wines I’m into. If you go to the larger wineries outside of town they are way better with more complex wines and a bit closer to what you would experience in Napa.

We had a great experience at Fredericksburg Winery. The hosts were funny and down to earth; and very informative. We learned a lot of history about the town and industry. We were also highly respected for being a military family. It was a great experience all around. Also, they offer Christmas wine all year round. Also very cool that they make the wine there in house.
