Wonderful practice. And the location is close to Lenox Hill Hospital. It's important for me when I received nasal Ketamine with them.

Dr. Adam is a true gem of a psychiatrist/mental health professional, as well as human being. Although I had already been managing medication for some time before I turned to Dr. Adam, it was in my first meeting with him where I felt so much relief in just being seen and understood by another human being. Not judged. I've begun evolving in ways that can only be described as miraculous since meeting Dr. Adam, and I will always be grateful for his care, compassion, and professional insight.

This review was long overdue. I think at some point I was going to write a review for this group, but I wanted to wait as long as I could until I was able to meet most of the providers. In sum, the providers are wonderful with impressive background and experience. I can assure that the place is a personalized, professional, and comfortable one, and as someone who has suffered from anxiety for almost 38 years, I would highly recommend it.
Particularly, Dr. Michael Hargrove has had a customized and individualized approach to each of my session; he has provided solid guidance on top of being a reliable

I have been seeing Dr. Adam for almost three years now and highly recommend him for treatment of anxiety and depression. My mood has become much more stable as he has helped me challenge negative thinking patterns. I appreciate his flexibility with scheduling and continued support when I was out-of-state during Covid.

This practice has quite helpful to me over the past 3 years. First I saw Dr. Adam for OCD issues, and although the medication (clomipramine) he put me on was helpful, I was tired of the constant follow up check up I had to do with my general doctor. I then asked him to change the medicine, and he listened. Now i am on Prozac that has done wonders. I am also seeing Anna Ogle in her group and she's been also helpful. Overall I think it's a very helpful practice.

I love the Klein-Kraepelin Group, and after one year of looking around for the right fit, I found Anna Ogle to be highly dedicated, knowledge and most importantly (to me at least) interested in getting to know me as a person. I have previously participated in therapy in France, and I am happy to find someone that helped me make an easy transition. I would recommend them to my friends who are looking for genuine and affordable care.

CAUTION: Only one of his offices takes insurance, while the other does not. Very misleading because he is listed on various websites as taking various forms of insurance.

He is a personable and efficient psychiatrist, with diagnostic accuracy and treatment effectiveness. I have been going to this office for one year now and I am happy. I travel long distance to see him, and doing so after having prior experience with other providers. It's an excellent choice!

DO NOT SEE! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS FOR YOU. After seeing Dr. Adam for six months now as a regular client I have had the opportunity to accept a job on the west coast. I discussed this opportunity two months prior with Dr. Adams, and the options that I had available to me so that I could remain his client. He said this was possible. My last appointment was scheduled for this past Friday. Under extenuating circumstances related to my mental health I was unable to attend (my first ever missed appointment), and I wrote Adams immediately apologizing and explained what happened. Adams wrote back

A professional practice I can always rely on for last minute appointments, they are very busy as they get crushed with phone calls, but it's worthwhile the wait because the quality of psychiatric care I receive there is outstanding. Now with a fully dedicated therapist on board, I am happy that I can receive all services on site. I usually pay on site ( only cash payment accepted onsite), and they usually provide me with an itemized receipt for reimbursement. Dr Adam is excellent at prescribing medications and providing brief psychotherapy, and I am very thankful that he has adjusted all my

After months of back and forth on email Dr. Adams has finally refunded me the incorrect charge that I was made to pay because of their system being incorrect. He also asked that I remove my negative review now that he's paid me what he falsely charged me. Just an FYI in case you're curious as to why there are only 5 star reviews for this page. I was also asked what my motive was by suggesting another practice and answered that I did that for one reason - to help others find quality help.

I love the Klein-Kraepelin group, and Dr Adam is emblematic of this psychiatry group. They are quite reliable, and answer my emails usually within one hour. Karolina is a dedicated receptionist and she will answer your call during office hours, and when the office is busy, I usually call back or email to Dr Adam, and he will make sure that I get a call back.
Dr Adam is an excellent psychiatrist, and he had been taking my insurance (Aetna) until recently when I switched job. He will explain everything to you from the diagnosis to your treatment plan. I find his website very useful and I have the

I have been a patient of Dr Adam for two years. I was referred to him by my therapist, and after she retired, Dr Adam has been helping me with both therapy and medication management. It was a challenge initially to find the right medication for my anxiety, but he was patient and ultimately put me on the right medication.
His therapy sessions have been useful from day one. He is very good at cognitive, behavioral and humanistic approaches. He will encourage you to surpass yourself and the obstacles that you are facing. Psychiatry is a personal experience, and my experience is that Dr Adam has been

I have been on medication for ADHD and anxiety for a number of years so I have seen my share of Psychiatrists. He is by far the most understanding and easy to talk to.
Dr Adam isn't just writing out Rx's, and leaving it up to psychologists to handle the details, he actually cares about you!
He is also very flexible and patient with me- I frequently call last minute for an appointment and he always manages to make sure I get in before I am out of medication.
Both aesthetically and energy- his office is very warm and welcoming- not clinical and cold.
Thank you Dr A for being sympathetic

I've had a life-long struggle with ADHD, only really understanding it the last two years. A year prior to meeting Dr. Adam, I was aware of my condition but had no real way to treat it. I felt like I had no hope--countless doctors and doctor visits, psychiatrists and psychologists, no experience yielding anything fruitful. Then I met doctor Adam, who has helped me understand and manage the condition, with and without the use of medicine. If you are afflicted by ADHD and have struggled as much as I have, I would strongly urge scheduling an appointment. It's totally worth it.

He is an excellent psychiatrist with a solid knowledge in psychoanalysis. We have worked collaboratively on bi- weekly visits over the past year, and thanks to his experience, his way of engaging, and insights, my mind has been set free, and I have been able to perform better in my job. Psychiatry is founded on personal experiences, and he is a doctor who understands this. He will help you deal better with frustrations, life disappointments, and shutting down.

He is also an excellent psychopharmacologist. Please note that he will not take your insurance if you are only interested in weekly psychotherapy
