Sarah Burkel and her team do an outstanding job keeping the kids focused, fit and learning every day! The after school program is amazing, from taking karate classes to having quiet homework time to free play. Karate America has been such a great option for after school care for our kids. They are safe, well cared for and in addition they are learning a valuable lifelong skill.

We love Karate America-Oregon! My daughter has been going there for a few years and really enjoys the classes. Occasionally there are special "Parent's night out" activities in the evening that are themed for a couple hours that are really fun for my daughter to bring a friend to. And they have a great summer camp program too...highly recommended!!

We have been coming to Karate America-Oregon for over 4 years-for traditional classes, summer camp, and after school care. The staff here is amazing-they care about the kids, lift them up, help them grow as martial artists and as people. My kids’ confidence and focus has grown so much with their time here-and they have a ton of fun to boot! This is the best place we accidentally found-so thankful for our karate family!

I signed my son up for karate at Karate America against his wishes at first and it has turned into something he loves and looks forward to. I appreciate the effort and hard work they put into teaching each lesson. It has been a good decision for us.

Karate America Oregon has wonderful and caring instructors. I really enjoy that the lessons they give children not only include karate lessons but also principles that help children how to live. These are drive every class and are given a discussion on it. They also put on A Parent's Night Out, which is what they on some activities for the kids while parents get some time together. I very glad that my children go here for lessons. I even get learn things too!

Our oldest son will be starting his second year at Karate America this school year. Even with him only attending 2 days a week last year, we already have seen a big difference in his confidence and discipline. Things have been a bit different for us with the pandemic, but with Karate America's virtual classes he has been able to practice from home and it's amazing to see the difference in his focus and attitude after he does the classes. We are excited to see him continue to grow and our littlest can't wait until he's old enough to join.

We love how much the girls have learned at Karate America. It's not just about the karate moves, the kids learn focus, respect and a different ideal is taught each term. They have learned acceptance, honor, excellence and perseverance.
They learn self defense moves in a safe environment. Who wouldn't want their child to know what to do if a stranger grabbed them?
They also have a great after school program, where kids ride the school bus to KA. When there is a teachers work day, KA is open for all day camp. And parent night out and summer camp and adult classes and excellent teachers
