What a breath of fresh air it was to visit Mt Hood Eye Care today. I could not wait to write this review.
I had been with the same optometrist for 15 years but in the past 5 years have noticed a huge deficiency in patient care so I decided to "shop" around.
After 3 days of research, reading reviews, and making calls, I eventually dialed up Mt Hood Eye Care. That was the last call I made!!!
My call was answered by a sweet friendly receptionist who actually sounded like she loves what she does. Imagine that! And , she made me an appointment the following week! Imagine that!!
The office was clean

Mt. Good Eye Care is the best eye care clinic I have ever been to. The receptionist was very nice. Tony Turin OD is the best eye doctor. He explained my condition to me as no other eye dr has ever done. Catherine thenOptician was very patient and helpful. I will never go anywhere else. I had the best experience ever and recommend them highly.

Had my glasses loose a screw for the temple while at work. Mt. Hood eye care is not my normal eye place but they are closest to my work. I stopped by no appointment not even a phone call first. They not only installed a new screw they also repaired my missing nose pad all with a smile & at no charge to me. I will be back

This place is amazing! I had an emergency situation - I got Tide Power Detergent in my eyes - and they fit me into their schedule within an hour of me calling. Even though I had never been there before, the receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Dr. Turin was extremely calm and explained everything he was doing and the purpose of it. I really appreciate when doctors explain what is happening so I know what I'm being charged for! He was also honest with how long my recovery would be and what I would experience as my eye healed. He followed up 48 hours later to see how I was doing before

Hubby and I are in our 50's and had been using places like Lens crafters, America's Best etc for our eyecare over the past 10 years. We live in a rural community outside of Portland Oregon and decided we wanted a local eye doctor to support local small business as well as a place to continue eyecare. I noticed an eye clinic across from our medical doctor so i phoned them; Mt Hood Eye Care in Sandy, Oregon. The lady was very cordial and was able to get both of us in on the same day and quick! I've been wearing glasses or contacts since the age of 6, so eye care has been routine for me for many years. My previous eye doctor passed away, so I needed to find a new one.
