J graduated from college back in '71 and went right into the Army, where he served for 7 years before deciding to visit Oregon and become an eye doctor. Upon graduation in '84, it was back in the Army for 4 more years, seeing patients at the 34th General Hospital in Germany. Now married, he returned Stateside in '87, and except for an overseas callup for Desert Storm, he's been here ever since.

Our experience at Mountain View Eye Care was top notch. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and made us feel welcomed. The doctor took his time in the exam and I feel confident nothing was missed. We will definitely be continuing our families eye care at this practice!

Today was my first visit to Mountain View Eye Care and it was a great experience. Just walking through the door I could tell there was a good energy in the office and a camraderie among the staff. I was greeted warmly and soon taken back to the exam room. Jewel is a friendly and very competent technician. Dr Sopher completed my exam with proficiency and put me greatly at ease. I appreciated her explanations throughout. Emily, the optician, helped me with my frame choices and ensured I understood my plan benefits to maximally use them.

As always, it is a pleasure to have my eye care needs provided at Mt View Eye Care. The staff is pleasant and takes good care of me. It's a joy to see their smiley faces. Dr. Nic is fantastic. Smart, caring, very informative and helpful. I came in for a stye which turned out to be a little more serious. He was able to get me in the next day which in this day is amazing! Will be my go to eye Dr from now on. My daughter sees him as well for a complicated eye problem and he is truly wonderful.

Everyone here was so friendly and helpful. The optometrist really listened and seemed to care about me and my son, who is on the autism spectrum. The young lady helping us find the right frames took lots of time to help us and even went online to help my son pick out several frames to try - she's ordering them for their stock so he can try them out to see which ones he likes. This was a fantastic experience!
