Hi, I'm the mommy of Caleb. He is a little over two and a half years old. He has been attending The Nest Academy Learning Preschool since August of last year. We started at Lorton's location, and we recently moved to Alexandria's. For both locations I have to say: both directors and all of the teachers are very attentive.

My younger son attended this location. Some of the staff was friendly, specifically, the front desk. However, the teachers were extremely rude and did not respect the children nor parents. When I would pick him up, several teachers would question who I was and what I was doing there because "they have not seen me before", despite the fact, my son attended for over a year and I was only one of two other people that would pick him up. The interrogation on a daily basis was ridiculous. Although, my worst experience was at their "graduation" ceremony which they were reluctant in

I had a bad feeling about this place, after a numerous email and phone attempts - trying to get them to answer the question - the staff was still unresponsive. Sahm kept saying he'll talk to the director but they didn't even bother to return my calls. I'm glad I decided to follow my guts and enrolled my child at NoVA academy of early learning at lorton and they were very wonderful to my kid!

They are a great school. My son loves it and we love the teachers and the fact that they have small classes so the kids don't get so sick.

My daughter was home with me until she turned a year. I was really worried about the transition but the director and staff made it very easy. She is happy and well adjusted. She attends the Del Ray location and as one reviewer said the parking lot is small and can be difficult when it's busy. Overall we are happy. I recommend it.

I'm kind of surprised at some of the low reviews. We've been coming here for a year and a half with our two children, and we love it. It's a very warm and loving environment. Our oldest has learned a great deal from the instruction, and we feel he is emotionally and academically prepared for kindergarten. The tuition is not low, but is comparable to other daycares in the area. The only downside is the small parking lot - it's a real monster some evenings. Even that isn't enough to detract from 5 stars!

I called ahead of time to inquire if they took one year old babies PT only.....the woman on the phone said yeah sure we take part time... and made an appt for us to meet with the owner. The next day, baby and I get ready drive there (a 40 minute drive) and when we get there the owner looks at us and says: No, we do not take one year olds PT only FT and did not even apologize for giving us the wrong information over the phone....Thanks for making us waste our time!

The owner was nice enough to show us around but I would not want my baby in the infant's room..the kids in there looked unhappy

Don't.......just don't. Cold day bringing out the kids and CRIBS with no coats unacceptable. Employees yanking on kids....me thinks not. I don't think the employees here are trained or equipped to care for children or infants.
