Basically paid $90 for something I could have done for myself. To be fair they did say in the paperwork that I read (after I paid). They would only do the bare minimum as far as fighting the ticket. For those who haven't had a ticket before. The first go around is the courts wasting your time by bringing you in. They want to know how you want to plea as in no contest, court date, DD, DA. This was the end of the line for Beltz also. They did nothing to try and fight this and they can.
So save your money and either go to some other lawyer or go up to the court house yourself.

I got 2 tickets for no insurance and registration. They managed to lower the fine on both citations and most importantly they were able to remove the incidents off my record. Pretty straight forward working with them and I love the fact that they create a profile for you online where you can log in and check for updates or submit any paperwork or signatures. I definitely recommend this place for traffic tickets.

I got a speeding ticket. I didn't want to pay the ticket because I didn't want my insurance to go up so I hired a lawyer. I paid the retainer fee and they said they would take care of it. The judge or court didn't dismiss the ticket so I took it to trial. A week before I was supposed to be in court Beltz law firm told me my trial got rescheduled so I shouldn't show up. The day I was supposed to have court a paralegal called me telling me my case got dismissed. Way to go Beltz law firm. Can't thank you enough

Can't recommend these guys enough. I've used them twice now for speeding tickets, and in both instances they were able to get me deferred adjudication plus get my fine reduced.
Yes, I know you can apply for deferred adjudication yourself, but I still recommend using Beltz for several reasons. (i) They make the process painless; (ii) they got me a shorter probation period than I could have gotten on my own; (iii) and both times have been cost effective (i.e. Beltz's fee plus my reduced fine cost totaled less than the ticket would have cost me on my own).

I hired beltz off the cuff after speaking to him about my traffic tickets and failure to appear. It all started well and made it clear that he was sure how to handle this Plano court. Welp, a month later and nothing has changed for me.
I am scammed of $400 and nothing but the court saying I have to pay all full amounts which I can't. I have tried to handle this ammecably but you can't even reach him on phone or message as this con's phone messages are full. I was told After I paid them that it's a "tough" court haha. This should have been admitted from the start

However the client portal services they set you up with isn't used as a way for you to ask questions or get ahold of them.
It's set up just for them to stick stuff on there.
Secondly, I was told that some tickets that I plead on in 2010 wouldn't be turned into additional surcharges . This was inaccurate. I got more surcharges.
Thirdly they wanted to charge me 500 dolllars ( this was the discounted rate) for my license However after several attempts to get ahold of them via client portal services I started looking elsewhere and found an attorney that

This firm and its sole attorney, J. Beltz, have most definitely earned their "F" grade they received from the better business bureau. Don't trust Yelp or google, go straight the the BBB and look them up. It's a farce and you will do better representing yourself (and save money to boot!). I encourage any previous clients to file a complaint with the TEXAS State Bar Association. This man should not be allowed to practice law!

Go to Beltz if you owe the NTTA a great deal of money. I paid them $75 and they reduced a toll bill with a massive amount of extra fees from approximately $3900 to about $2400. They were going to go back to court to try to reduce it further but I was forced to pay the $2400 because I needed my car registration (NTTA blocked my registration). I think some people who wrote poor reviews just expect them to make a traffic ticket disappear. This is the place to come when you have multiple unpaid tickets, warrants, etc. If you get a single traffic ticket, you might be better off doing deferred adjudication

I recently adopted a dog from FM Shelter ( first shelter dog ) however when i moved my information was never changed. Long story short i ended up with 4 ticket( that turned into warrants ) it was brutal.
Magdalne was able to work with me and has let me make payments. I just started this process so my experience has been great. Ill leave another review after my court date.

Do not use this law firm. They do not help with your traffic tickets. They are dishonest, difficult to reach and communicate with and do not follow through with their duties in a law firm. Beware!!! I took them to court for their negligence and judge sided with them despite my detailed documentation and proof of negligence. They hide behind the law and Jeffrey Beltz and all of his staff is nothing but shady. You will end up with a conviction on your record and out a lot of money. Go elsewhere. Do not hire this firm. Was recently relocated to the DFW area and I received a speeding ticket. Back home you have 30 days to pay; here you have 21. I was not aware of this and didn't read the ticket properly. I was a little strapped for cash at the time and paying the ticket was really tough. When I tried to pay some of the fees and/or ask for an extension on the 22nd day, the courts told me I was late and were threating me with additional fees, points on my license, and a warrant. I quickly contacted Beltz law firm.
