For over 40 years, our practice has provided general psychiatric and psychological care to patients with a broad range of symptoms and diagnoses. Our providers have helped people overcome personal struggles and achieve their full potential. Treatment may include the use of medication, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), psychotherapy - or a combination of these - to assure the best outcome for our patients.
We take a multi-specialty, integrative approach to your mental health. When you reach out to us as a new patient, we will typically schedule a complimentary 30 minute appointment with our Clinical Director and Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Ann Wycoff, in addition to scheduling an appointment with one of our medical providers.

Services
We believe that everyone - regardless of their genetics, parenting or past life events - deserves the opportunity to fully enjoy all that life can offer. We provide high quality care to our patients by creating a nurturing office environment, staying current with research and treatment options, and adapting to the changes in society that impact mental health.
Our office staff and TMS Treaters are here to help you get the most from your experience with us. I am the TMS Coordinator. I grew up in San Diego and I am currently (remotely) finishing up a B.S. in Business Operations Management at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I am a strong believer in the benefits of TMS and love watching patients progress throughout their treatments.
Psychotherapy - talk therapy - focuses on helping you resolve life issues you face on a daily basis. Learn if psychotherapy is right for you. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation uses targeted magnetic pulses to target areas of the brain that are either underactive or overactive in Depression, Anxiety and other disorders.

I just finished my second round of TMS treatments at Dr Hubbard’s office. The first time I came I had slipped into a very deep depression - in bed for 3 months. This year, I decided to be proactive and contacted the office BEFORE my symptoms became severe. I was feeling myself begin to isolate and my thoughts were unhealthy. I’m so glad I sought treatment early. The effects of the TMS continue to work even after treatment ends - and keep me at an even keel months and months afterward. Everyone at the office was friendly, helpful and compassionate. Avery bent over backwards to accommodate my

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about this place. Dr. Wycoff is the nicest woman I have ever met. She genuinely cares about you getting better. What I love most about this office is they are not out to just get your Money. They are out to get you better. I’ve had 2 TMS appointments with her. Her dog is the best too.
Second I had a video chat with Avery Parker. Avery is a person that also wants to get you to be your best self. He genuinely listened to everything I had to say. Myself being a adult in my 20’s and having tons of life yet this team wants you to be your best. Thank you

I treat specifically with Rizwan Khan and I cannot thank him enough for all he has done to provide me exceptional care. Managing my medication and finding the right regimen is all thanks to him. After seeing a few other doctors in the San Diego area, he was the first to be able to help me achieve consistent treatment that works for me. He is incredibly kind and attentive, understanding and supportive. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient for 2 years and have never encountered a medical office that does not return phone calls regarding scheduling visits . Also repeated pharmacy requests for refills go without any response from the office. Since I live near their Mission Valley office I've gone 3 -4 times over the years in person to the office to follow through on my requests. This week I've left two messages, two days apart regarding setting up an appointment and still no response. Even more ridiculous, their automated voice message promises a return call within 15 minutes or the next business day

I just finished my exit interview and so happy to see the staff today! This place have been such a blessing to me and my husband. I've had depression eversince I was in my teenage years and tried medications but nothing really worked as good as TMS. All I can say is that the "dark cloud" that has been with me is now gone and I'm excited to live my life without it. Thank you to Maya, Raymond, Avery, Sandra, Isaac and Dr. Wycoff and all the other staff. ❤

I'm not one to post reviews usually but I had to for this place. I just completed my third round of TMS treatment here (first two different places). I have never met a more warm and welcoming staff than I have met here. I would come into treatments thinking the worst about myself and always be happily greeted by everyone here. I even got birthday wishes from the whole staff twice, which I was not expecting. Avery did great a job working with my insurance since I tend to get denied coverage quite a bit. Maya is one of the coolest people I have ever met and I actually looked forward to going into

I've struggled with severe depression and anxiety my entire life. It's effected my intimate relationships, career, and ability to thrive. After 5 years of therapy including DBT and EMDR, I was referred to Dr. Hubbard's office by my therapist for TMS. She said she has had many patients that have tried TMS, but Dr. Hubbard's office was highly recommended because he gave the best long-lasting results. After seeing them, I think it's the time and care they give during treatment.

Had a terrible experience here - Had an appointment with Rizwan Khan since he is the only one accepting new clients. My initial appointment was cancelled extremely last minute, making my first appointment my medication management appointment. If I had the chance to meet Rizwan prior, I would not have continued further and kept this appointment. He asked really invasive questions, which I understand having to get an idea of a patient's past to understand what is going on, but this was too much. I told him it was making me uncomfortable and that I would rather not proceed to answer a few. It sent

I’ve done two rounds of TMS here. Really a great experience. I’ll miss my daily treatments with Maya, Ray, and Liz. Dr Wycoff is very attentive to the needs of the patients and always available during treatment and after should the need arise. The whole crew is dedicated to getting you a great result. A well run office full of kind people as well. Couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

I cannot recommend the clinicians here enough, as well as the services they provide. All are professional, but also easy going and caring - exactly what you want in a provider. I also completed TMS treatment here, which worked wonders for me. After years of medicinal treatments that didn't do much, I went in with low expectations and came out feeling like a new person. My treater, Isaac (& Avery a few times) were incredibly caring, friendly, and thoughtful - they made the entire experience comfortable. Do not hesitate about this place and do yourself potentially the best favor of your life: pursue

Never experienced a doctors office like this one. I have had about 4 routine visits with Rizwan (an associate who works with Bruce) for script renewals, and each time something goes wrong. Most recently, They emailed my personal info to other clients when they deleted my email on file and replaced it with the email of another patient wit ha completely different name and address (you read that correctly). they also charge you $50 to do any sort of correspondence with insurance companies. So if you are prescribed anything and the insurance company requires any sort of info from the office, they

I'm a patient of Dr. Hubbard and Dr. Wykoff. They recommended Tanscranial Magnetic Stimulation for me as a treatment for my depression. At first blush, it was very intimidating. But they explained the process really well; and every step happened just as they had said. Their staff and technicians are knowledgeable and really put me at ease, both before and during the treatment.
Best of all, the TMS procedure has REALLY improved my symptoms of depression. It has enhanced my whole outlook on life. Working as a team, they have all helped me become a better person.
P.S. My family is thrilled

I definitely have my moments and it is unbelievably reassuring to know I am in his great care. He's always listened and prescribed accordingly and I just cannot thank him enough. I'd recommend him to any family member or friend. He always gives good advice, is understanding, and has a very calming nature about him. Today I met with psychologist, Anne Wycoff, PhD at Dr. Hubbard's office. I was delighted to meet this competent, empathetic clinician. Besides her clinical psychology clients, Dr. Wycoff oversees and coordinates the office's Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) protocol for depression. Dr. Wycoff is well versed & articulate on this state of the art treatment which is now covered by many insurance companies. She explains the treatment program in easily understandable terms as she assesses the appropriateness of the protocol for clients. Dr. Wycoff demystifies the science &

Called to make an appointment as a new patient and was told because previous doctors had prescribed me Benzos they would not see me. I asked how I was supposed to be on something else if that was what I had been prescribed. If they are bad for you I wanted to have the doctor explain because I wanted to make an educated decision for my health. Was told they don't see any patients who have been on Xanax because it's not a good fit. Would not even let me make an appointment to transition to a different medication or get medical advice. I asked to leave a message for the doctor but was told

I am seeing Dr. Hubbard and could not be happier with him and his staff. He is incredibly empathetic and understanding in our appointments and his staff have been more than helpful and responsive. After my first visit with him I had requested an opinion letter from him without giving him a time-fame. Later that day I found out that I was going to need it by the end of the week, so I called the office in a bit of a panic. I talked to the office manager who said she would check the status of it, and give me a call back. 10 minutes later she called me back saying that he had already completed the

My husband doesn't have a YELP account or he'd write this review... His primary care physician submitted a request for medical records transfer well over 30 days ago... since then he has called this office multiple times without any resolve. They're either "too busy and will get to it when they can" or their workload is too heavy because they state they can't keep up with "the 300 faxes they've received" whatever that means.... the wait time is obscene on something as simple as transferring medical records so a patient can continue care. I would be ashamed

This review is for Riz, the pa, the front desk personnel are very attentive and empathetic. It was supposed to be a 40 minutes appointment and it turned out 10 minute appointment. He pushed for me to go through TMS treatment without really assessing my health and physical profile. He was dismissive and has to look up the maximum dosage for Wellbutrin. What kind of practitioner is that. What he did not know is that I'm a Psych registered nurse for the past 15 years and knows the dosage for meds. If he has to google the maximum dose for meds then you should not be practicing as a Psych physician

I have never had a more horrible experience with staff at a medical office. On top of losing billing payments, repeated billing, they failed to file a prescription, not once, not twice, not THREE TIMES , FOUR TIMES THEY CALLED IT IN TO THE WRONG PHARMACY.
When I thought I had the situation resolved...nope,.,,they file the wrong medication with the right pharmacy.
Left an email but do they RESPOND to me being OUT OF MEDS??? NO.
After I call, she starts explaining and she's now talking about a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PHARMACY!!!
She finally gets it right and oh...their computer is down

The front office is terrible. Kathy apparently "forgot" to put my appointment into their calendar when I spoke with her originally so they didn't have me scheduled when we had agreed to over the phone. Then when I went in for my rescheduled appointment, I was seen by a physician assistant (PA), not the actual doctor. I didn't know this until after my session was over when the PA noted that I was a new patient. He offered to introduce me to Dr Hubbard. Whatttt???? I had SPECIFICALLY asked and confirmed that I was seeing Dr Hubbard when I made the original and new appointment

I think many of the negative reviews here are because people are looking for therapy, which Hubbard does not do. He's a psycho-pharmacologist, not a therapist.
That is the gig. You go for the meds. He checks in to see if you're sober or stoned; if not, fine, but as a responsible doc, he has to ask. He doesn't let this pass because drugs interact (duh). Sometimes they affect the meds. People slip.
I also believe that pharm meds changed the field of psychiatry radically back in the 90's. They frankly work better for some conditions (like depression and anxiety) than any talk
