I would be honored to help you in exploring whether psychotherapy will help you resolve the problems you are facing. The most important consideration in finding a therapist is "Do I have a positive connection with this person". Studies find that if you feel your therapist understands you and can help you, it is very likely that your experience will be helpful.

That is why I offer a free 30-minute introductory consultation for individuals and couples. During your consultation visit, we will look at your top priorities for therapy, and determine if we are a good match. We will also establish a tentative treatment plan, a schedule, and discuss fees and insurance.
Services
I have worked in San Diego since 1995 providing therapy for adults. My specialty is individual and couples therapy, and my greatest commitment is to your well-being. About two thirds of my practice is with the GLBTQ community. I am currently training with the Gottman Institute to provide Couples therapy using the Gottman Method.
I work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between noon and 7:00 in the evening. Appointments are generally 50 minutes. We can schedule appointments at a repeating time or they can be set from week to week. Many people prefer to meet weekly, but every other, or every third week can be effective as well.
