Psychological evaluations consist of a comprehensive interview, followed by paper-and-pencil or computer administrated tests that help to look at patterns of emotional and personality functioning. Sometimes, a psychological evaluation can include formal testing of intellectual abilities, though the cognitive testing is not as comprehensive as a full neuropsychological evaluation.
Our ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) evaluations for adults are individually-tailored, based on the symptoms that they are presenting with and based on their biopsychosocial history. The testing may include assessment of intellectual abilities, attention, executive functioning, and achievement, and questionnaires to evaluate mood, personality, and behavioral issues.

Dr. Silva is a dedicated and thoughtful clinical and forensic psychologist here in San Diego. I've had the pleasure to collaborate on multiple worker's compensation treatment cases with her, and I can always trust that patients will be in good hands when they are seen at her office. Her staff and her team are reliable, smart, and caring. Very glad Dr. Silva's in town!

I schedule and bill for many psychologists and neuropsychologists in San Diego area. Delia Silva and her associates are always on the spot when it comes to responding to inquiries and getting patient's scheduled. They have always acted in a professional and kind manner. I would highly recommend them.
