I always say finding the right therapist is based upon the "goodness of fit model"- whether my therapeutic style and personality are the right fit for you. So let me share a little more about myself, so you can decide if we would work well together. Most clients describe me as authentic and down-to-earth.
Everyone, at some point in their life, struggles with a personal, relational or situational challenge. Some circumstances resolve themselves, while others may require additional support from a trained professional. A psychotherapist provides a supportive, nonjudgmental environment in which you can talk openly about your struggles to gain a deeper understanding and identify solutions.
In individual therapy sessions, I work with you one-on-one in a supportive environment that aims to facilitate change and improve your quality of life. My focus is to resolve the issues that brought you into therapy and create the change you seek for your life. We will begin by setting personal goals for yourself and identify steps toward resolution or achievement.

Stressful events and life transitions can affect and strain family relationships. Family therapy brings parents, siblings, caregivers and extended family members into the treatment process. During family therapy, you and your family can explore family roles and patterns of behavior in order to gain a deeper understanding of how to create the change you seek and to teach skills to deepen and/or repair family connections.
