At Des Plaines Eye Care Center, our goal is promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept most insurance plans, cash, and most credit cards. We inform our Des Plaines patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.

As an eye care provider in Des Plaines, our doctor of optometry service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function.
You are able to perceive depth because you have two eyes with overlapping vision. This is called binocular vision and it makes it possible to determine when an object is closer or further away from you. However, if you struggle with depth perception even with both eyes open, it is important to have a binocular vision test performed at our office.

The whole process was wonderful! From the beginning, the check-in was easy and the staff is very friendly. I had a short wait for the doctor and my pre-check went smoothly. The techs explained everything before we started and made the process easy to understand. Dr. Nakhlis was professional and kind. The results were communicated clearly and she spent extra time explaining my options. I highly recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a great experience.

I visited this center for the first time few weeks ago and it will definitely not be my last! Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Shout out to Iva, who is the reason me and my husband to visit this eye care center!

Most comprehensive eye exam I've had in a while! They explained what they were doing and most importantly WHY!! When it came time to look at frames so many of them were helping and giving an honest opinion! They accept BlueCross BlueShield and are totally able to stay within your budget

Fantastic place. No issues whatsoever with staff, and had a friendly conversation with them. Glad they're taking the necessary precautions due to Covid-19 by constantly sanitizing and cleaning everything that people interact with and sit on. They keep people moving to make sure they're at a safe enough distance from others. They are very knowledgeable and highly recommend for anyone!

Great place, exceptional service, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. Ever felt like you had so many questions and you were given the textbook answers... well not here. I walked out knowing and understanding everything related to my eye exam thanks to Dr. Ivanova. I was given her full attention, and not once did I feel like my appointment was rushed. Highly recommend it! And their selection of frames is amazing!

Talk about a horrible experience. 2 hours in a eye doctor with no dilation since I needed to schedule a separate appointment. Usually dilation is done in the same appointment but no they wanted to upcharge me 40 bucks to do it same day when its already included within my 20 dollar copay. Who has time to come back a different day and pay another co-pay.
If it was gonna be an additional 40 charge for this special dilation why not tell me upfront prior to making an appointment? I wouldn't have chose the place then! Who wants to send extra money or come back again? I give my concerns to one of the

The greatest optometrist place I have ever been at. The doctor is amazing! She understand what she is talking about and will get you out of the door with a pair of new glasses in no time. Great selection of frames. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Well organized office. I would recommend this place to any and all that are interested in getting a pair of glasses.
