I have nearly 15 years of construction experience, including framing, roofing, foundation work, finish carpentry, landscaping, and general contracting. Knob and Tube Wiring (K&T) was in common use in North America from about 1880 until the 1930's. You may even see it in a home as late as the 1970's. Knob and Tube Wiring is a single-insulated copper conductor passing through joists and studs, inside of a porcelain-insulated tube. It is supported at various junction points by ceramic knobs and secured by tie wires.

Michael from Complete Check Inspections, exceeded all expectations that I had with regards to having an 11-month warranty check performed. He took his time, and checked everything at our house, and was extremely detail oriented. Additionally, he had a complete report with comparison photos included in less than 2 hours after the inspection was completed. I cannot recommend using Complete Check Inspections enough and we look forward to using them in future inspections.

Nobody could figure out what the sound was!? You see, we had just moved into our new home and discovered what we thought was water leaking. We asked our previous home inspector to come by again and see if he could deduce what it was, but no luck. He said find plumber, so we did. The plumbers came by and even they were boggled. Highly recommend Complete Check Inspections! We were able to get an appointment within a few days, I thought for sure they would be booked way out. Steve arrived on time (early in fact!), he was never hesitant to answer any question my husband threw at him, he was very knowledgeable and thorough with even the smallest details. And the drone he used to see the roof was great!
