I can not say enough goodness about this Inspector. I found him through Google as my other Inspector had to leave town. He was thorough. He was quick and his turn around time was amazing. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. I used this company for my home inspection before purchasing my condo and boy was that a mistake. I found out after closing that not only did Ken miss that an element on my water heater was completely broken and the other element turned way up to compensate (which is dangerous), i found out recently he didn't notify me of the polybutylene piping which was recalled in 1995 for eroding from the inside out. Now i either get to repipe for thousands of dollars or risk the pipes bursting. After speaking with Ken about these issues I received a text threatening to

The inspection missed a huge problem with our home! Roughly 10 months after the inspection and buying our home we discovered a leak in a drainage pipe that caused significant water damage and mold. The leak was caused by a puncture that happened prior to us moving in and should have been discovered in the inspection. We have discovered that our Allstate homeowners insurance does not cover what they call "slow leaks" so now we are stuck with the full brunt of the costs to remove all the mold and replace the wall and flooring. I should also add that we are having to stay elsewhere during this ordeal

I used 5 Star Home Inspections to inspect two properties in 2016. The first inspection found water damage from the roof and prevented me from buying the property. The second inspection gave the house a clean bill of health and gave me a great piece of mind.
