Just like a dancer needs to build strength to protect her hyper mobile joints, a football player needs to build his flexibility with over tight muscles. NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS players routinely utilize Pilates repertoire for cross training, injury prevention, and gaining that extra edge on the field or court.
We teach Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) Pilates. BASI believes that Joseph Pilates a man way before his time and incredibly innovative would have constantly been evolving and changing his program to reflect current scientific trends and innovations of the modern world. My home away from home, spotless studio, the BEST teachers, all have different styles of teaching so it is NEVER boring. I have never been so strong even after 30+ years of running. Donal, Lillian, Sarah, Star and Cybele are all so kind (and clear with their instructions) and truly have a passion for Pilates and it shows in their teaching and attitude. They know how to challenge you. Love this place, my zen place.

Donal and his kind and knowledgeable staff have changed my whole outlook on exercising. This is the first time in my life I've enjoyed physical activity! Pilates is fun. It is also rewarding for my mentality as it incorporates stability and balance practices. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Im already feeling stronger, have regained better balance and lost 12 lbs.

Triune Pilates is the best that I've experienced. The online course descriptions are very helpful and Donal further clarified what classes are suitable for me as a newbie.
Having been to about 7 classes with 3 different instructors who are all super knowledgeable, patient, positive and caring and though their styles are different but their underlying techniques.
I really appreciate Cybele's attentiveness and advice. She spent time after class to help me understand & tried some moves to help with my sore back. I appreciate Pilates even more now that I'm doing it the right

The best pilates studio I've ever been in terms of semi-private classes.
The facility is small and not as new but the semi private feel of the studio is great. It's a max of 5 students per semi-private class. The instructors I've had are all experienced and has great eye to correct your form and help you focus. Everyone is also very friendly and makes you feel at home.

Lilian, one of the instructors here, is a Pilates superhero. She has special Pilates powers. She was brought to earth to teach humans Pilates. That is her mission. The rhythm is always just right, the instructions are always precise and clear, and she is consistently observant, friendly. and funny. She has taught me to break down each exercise so that things I thought were easy, that I thought I'd already mastered, seem new again, and more challenging. It was Donal, the owner, who first introduced me to PIlates, back when I was a mesomorph. Donal is an inventive and highly skilled instructor

I came to Seattle for just the weekend and went to Triune to try one of their Semi-Private sessions. The studio was very calming and clean upon arrival. Class started on time and Lillian led us through a classical pilates session. Her cueing was very nice. Not having taken a class here previously I felt I could easily follow along with class. It was a really nice session and a nice atmosphere. If I lived in Seattle I would make this my studio of choice.

Love this place and all the instructors. I literally crawled in there after 2 years of recovering from a health crisis. I signed up for privates and have never regretted it. I now stand straight and tall at age 66 and look forward to my sessions every week. This is a lovely oasis. What I really like about the teachers is that they ask you at the beginning of every session, "how is your body" today? They listen to your reply and incorporate any last minute accommodations.
After class I feel fantastic! All stretched out and relieved of any tension I was holding on to unknowingly.

I started coming to this studio when I got a Groupon deal and have been hooked since. I've been trying to go a few times a week and have been feeling great. I've recently had some knee and hip issues and pilates has been so helpful. It has definitely helped my posture and I feel stronger. This is the first type of exercise I have really looked forward to. Don't get me wrong, the classes can be tough, but the benefits are worth it.

I LOVE Triune Pilates! Just joined about a month ago after trying them out on Groupon. I've tried other studios, and Triune is my favorite, by far. I drive from Shoreline several days per week just to go here. The classes are small (5 people max) and the instructors are GREAT. I have taken classes from Sara, Josh, Lillian, Jenny and Star, and they are all great in their own way. There's very little "singling you out" when you may not have the perfect form, but still enough guidance to help you do the exercises correctly. What a great workout, and great pilates studio!

Triune Pilates is the best! I have tried several private pilates studios in the Seattle area but would agree Triune is my favorite. To start the classes are small and instructors aren't overwhelming. Donal (the owner) is kind, caring, and thoughtful. While I've only taken classes from Sara, Triune offers several instructors. However, Sara is hands down the best with her refreshing approach to working out.
Triune is a must try!

I learned about reformer pilates from a friend who has been taking it at the YMCA downtown. She is so toned, and I want to look like her! Being a Magnolia resident, I was pleased to learn that there is a studio in my neighborhood! I was lucky to have found a Groupon offering a series of 10 classes. I've been taking classes with Sara since I can only take evening classes. Sara's a great instructor who guides us through the movements.

Overall decent experience. I'm pregnant so I signed up for their Intro Special 10 sessions. I worked with 3 trainers and for the most part they did a great job (2 of them were more of my style- Donal and Nick). Since I'm used to mat pilates it was an adjustment to get use to pilates with equipment. I would probably come again after I give birth and try out their group classes

Although I recently canceled by membership (due to change in location and financial situation), I very much enjoyed my time at this studio. The classes are small and personal, instructors are knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming.
I always felt like I got a great full body workout and would leave feeling better than when I came in.
I highly recommend Triune Pilates.

I have worked once with Donal and mostly with Katie. They are excellent! They really know their stuff!
I have many injuries and limitations and they are both very good at working around my injuries. We've been slowly working areas that are recently healed to get them back to reasonable strength and that is succeeding quite well!
