Our boutique Seattle Pilates studio is located in the heart of the bohemian Pioneer Square neighborhood. We are located near open cafes, bookstores, boutique retail, and art galleries. We specialize in tailored one-on-one private lessons, semi-privates, and small group classes.

We change and adapt the program as you change. We teach you how to use mental focus and breath control in coordination with movement, giving you greater self-mastery in how you move through life. We are here to support your path to health and fitness. In private lesson we create a program for you that is based on your priorities and learning style.
Kinesia Pilates offers teacher training in Classical Pilates, in an unbroken line from Joe Pilates, to Romana Kryzanowska, to you. In the teacher training program at Kinesia Pilates, we prioritize your personal understanding of the work through your body. You can enjoy this professional program whether it's for professional training or if you want to dive deep in your personal practice.

What a great discovery made through ClassPass! I just attended my very first fundamentals class and left feeling like my body had been elongated and like I could breathe more easily in just that one hour.
Class involved a lot of equipment but our instructor made everything very accessible and simple to use - nothing felt scary!
I highly recommend checking this studio out.

I am a pilates rookie -- and can't get enough! I started at Kinesia in mid-November in a last-gasp effort to manage my lower back pain. I love to run, ski, garden, cook, and the pain was keeping from doing these things I love. The pain was making my life smaller. I started with private lessons since I was so afraid of acerbating the back injury in a class, and the instructors -- and a particular call out to beautiful Stephanie! -- took such good, careful, respectful care of me. I love this place! The instructors are warm, funny, and extremely knowledgable. I have always been involved in many physical activities my whole life: dancing, running, yoga, horse riding... And the instructors at Kinesia Pilates are among the smartest when it comes to movement and alignment I have ever met. After going there for a couple of months, I feel stronger and more balanced than I have in years. I am a believer!

After having a not so positive experience at a pilates studio in NYC, I swore to myself that I would never again walk into another pilates studio. I decided it was time to give it another shot after hearing from a friend about her experience at Kinesia. After attending a few Apparatus Fundamentals classes, I can now say I am a fan of pilates.
I have only had Chrystl as an instructor and I enjoy her classes. She uses great verbal cues and will hands on correct you when needed. The apparatus fundamentals class will go over the basics of using the reformer, wall units and other props. I have been

I love this little Pioneer Square Pilates studio so much that I now have an unlimited monthly pass to their mat classes and finally decided to join a co-working office that's a few blocks away.
I started with one mat class pass at the end of July and really enjoyed that first class, so I decided to get the monthly pass for August... and then I decided to get another one for September. I love that the mat classes are at noon twice a week and that they just added an evening class and a weekend class. I will probably never make it to the Saturday class because I don't live in Pioneer Square

I can't say enough about my experience at Kinesia. I signed up for one of their specials for yelpers about a month ago. I am a runner and recently injured my groin. I was hoping this would help heal my injury and balance out my workouts. Christl, the owner, is just the most wonderful person and made my experience comfortable yet challenging. She tailored my workouts to my needs. Her studio is very attractive and relaxing. It really is a great atmosphere. It is amazing how much better I feel after Pilates, I am hooked. I highly recommend her!
