Regulations for transport and return of mortal remains vary widely from state to state and country to country and can be very complex and costly for the inexperienced, especially if there are language barriers. We have language and document translators for over 200 different languages around the world.

An IEA membership comparison: Consider an auto club membership for a moment. When you have a problem with your car, your auto club simply assures you that everything will be taken care of at no additional worry or cost to you. On your behalf, they facilitate and pay for the necessary arrangements to get you back on the road by contacting a qualified service provider nearest to you.

Most Americans will travel more than 75 miles from their home this year. Simply going to visit nearby family, friends or work more than 75 miles away from your home occurs often for many of us. The chances are good that you or your family will be among those travelers. Even though chances are minimal, are you prepared for an emergency such as an unexpected death while away from your home?
Benefits of enrollment include database entry, membership ID card, access to IEA's qualified service and transport providers with IEA facilitating and managing all necessary details, guaranteeing payment to the qualified service and transport providers for such expense up to *ten thousand dollars (*in accord with your individual application) of all required documentation and required minimum preparation for transport of cremated remains at the place of death, actual transport expenses to return the cremated remains in a specialized cremation transport container from U.S. and international locations back to a location nearest your residence in the U.S.
International Emergency Assistance offers a Marketing Partner Program to independent sales agencies, estate planning companies, attorneys, travel clubs, fraternal organizations, churches, funeral homes, cemeteries and other organizations. Our Marketing Partner Program allows your organization to offer and enroll new IEA memberships directly to your clients, employees and organization members.
Upon completion and receipt by IEA, your information will be reviewed, verified and entered into the IEA database. Your membership ID card will arrive generally within 30-45 days from enrollment date. You must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the U.S. and over the age of 21 to join. If you do not have an authorized IEA Local Area Representative nearby, you may contact us at info@ieaco.com for that information.
