Alea Aesthetic Medical Spa was opened in early January of 2019. While the medical spa itself is new, Olga Pankiv, NP, the owner of Alea Aesthetics Medical Spa has been practicing non-surgical aesthetic procedures for nearly ten years. Olga is passionate about bringing you the highest standard of care.
How botox works Please note that the infographic is not ours and was done by Renee Gordon. The common anti-wrinkle treatments that you hear about such as #botox or #dysport are from the Botulinum toxin family. Botulinum toxin blocks Acetylcholine receptors in the muscle and prevents them from contracting which is why you get a relaxation of the muscle and a reduction in appearance of wrinkles.
Botox is the brand name for a specific type of botulinum type A toxin, called onabotulinumtoxinA (ONA). Dysport is the brand name for another type A botulinum toxin called abobotulinumtoxinA (ABO). Botox was first approved for cosmetic use in 2002, and Dysport in 2009. Due to differences in manufacturing, Botox and Dysport differ in the potencies and onset times.
Throughout your life there are many factors that impact the health of your skin including (but not limited to): sun damage, medication, stress, hormone changes, muscle movement, diet/environment, background/heritage, pollution, cosmetics, and pre/post pregnancy. All of these factors can lead to a loss in collagen, loss of elasticity, skin roughness, fine lines and wrinkles, acne & scarring, and pigmentation irregularities.
There are many reasons why our skin can begin to show signs of aging. Environmental factors, such as excessive sun exposure, can give our skin a more aged appearance. Dermal fillers are injectable substances that can be used to help restore volume in the face. Most of the fillers on the market are Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers and there are also some non-HA fillers.

Olga is phenomenal. She is sweet, kind and very knowledgeable about injections, peels, etc. . She makes you feel comfortable ever step of the way. I am very happy with my results. I have been going to Alea Aesthetics Medical spa since they first opened! Every member of the staff is stellar: professional, friendly, excellent at their job. I chose Alea Med Spa based on glowing reviews from friends and NP Olga did NOT disappoint. She is extremely knowledgeable and takes a precise and scientific approach to treatments especially vs what I have heard from folks who went elsewhere. And the results show! She's also extremely warm and kind to boot. I cannot recommend Alea Aesthetics Medical Spa enough!!!

My experience was wonderful. I was accommodated with an appointment that would work for me. I appreciated that my appointment was actually on time. I have been in other offices where I show up at my appointed time and have to wait. Alea Aesthetics Med Spa is not only professional but very friendly. I was explained in detail of my procedure. I was curios about other procedures and Olga took the time to explain. I was pleasantly surprised at how painless my injection was . Olga is a NP and had much experience in this field . I felt extremely confident and comfortable with her. She has a soft touch

I really enjoyed my visit to Alea Med Spa. My therapist was Daria and she was amazing! So caring, warm and professional. She knew exactly the pressure that I liked and was able to find all my “sweet spots” and I felt major tension relief after a session! The next day when I washed my face I couldn’t believe how soft and at the same time firm my skin was. Wow!
I had a custom 60 minutes ritual and she did several techniques for me, including buccal massage and hydrafacial that were my favorites.
Spa is very private, quiet, relaxing and well kept. I will definitely be back!

Daria is amazing!!! I have tried laser hair removal at couple others highly rated places in NYC and Daria is the only one who has been able to treat me successfully. She provides high quality services and is so kind and accommodating.
She is also extremely knowledgeable and will give you recommendations based on what is best for you and your skin.
