(Only 1 star because I have to have it to post) This is THE WORST property I have ever been affiliated with. Not sure if they have recently gone under new management or not (within the last year or so) but these apartments are simply pleasing to the eye, from BEHIND the gate. The staff and management are quite frankly incompetent and maintenance is a joke; they are just men in golf shirts on a golf cart with no skills to “maintain” anything but to no fault of their own. If a property knowingly hires unskilled front office to unskilled maintenance, for the sake of cheaper wages, my expectations

Moved in a week ago, AC didn’t work the first night at all, maintenance has came out 4 times to “readjust the vents” and add freon. Management seems to be negligent and doesn’t want to fix the AC and just temporarily fix it. Bedrooms were hitting 78 degrees with the rest of the apartment was at about 71 when it’s almost 90 degrees outside. Maintenance says the same thing every time they come out. Do not recommend.

TERMITES! 9 out of 16 buildings have termites and we’ve had the termites in our apartment for seven days (since we were aware, so probably longer) they’ve even built their nest on the wall. They were on our… couch, dining table, and on the walls. We talked to the front office and they acted like it wasn’t a big deal and said to just poke the nest off and place tape when termites are A BIG DEAL! The exterminator finally came today but now there’s holes in the wall and maintenance is supposed to come patch up the holes. So they’re not even going to check the damage

Every time I call the office after have applying, my phone call always goes straight to voicemail or is left on hold for a LONG time with no answer but it can tell me my estimated wait time is a minute. BUT when I call on my roommates it goes straight through. :) Crazy how that is. DO NOT recommend.

Sarah is the only person that is even helpful and maintenance has always been great. The only two positive things about this complex. The first 3 months were great but after that their attitudes QUICKLY change. Apartments are loud and the stairwells are not kept up. In the instance that you can’t give a 60 day notice... they don’t care if you’re in the icu with a breathing tube! They don’t wanna hear you out as they simply do not care about your well being. They’re gonna add $200 on top of the rent you’re already paying. $1200 for a 1 bedroom during a pandemic. Highly unprofessional

Great place to stay! Office staff is super helpful and service requests are taken care quickly without delays. Amenities are maintained nice and clean. Additionally, management communicate quickly on any ongoing activities and events. I would highly recommend this apartment complex if you are looking for a peaceful and secure place to stay.

Without a doubt the best apartment community I have ever lived in! The amenities are second to none and they just added a new outdoor patio area. The management and office staff are always very polite and helpful! The maintenance staff are always prompt, and willing to help with any issue. The grounds are always kept clean and the newly added LED lights in the buildings and grounds are great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Charleston, and thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

We love our apartment. The layout in the 3 bedroom is very spacious with higher ceilings and newer appliances make the kitchen look great. The staff is always easy to work with and understanding. The gym is always clean and the pool has plenty of room. They also have a huge new grilling area/outdoor bar atmosphere for family and friends to gather.

The apartments and grounds are so beautiful. It almost feels like living on vacation. The pool and clubhouse are so nice. It's great to live in such a pretty apartment and have an equally pretty pool to escape to outdoors. I recommend these apartments to everyone!
Also, the management is the best! They take the needs of the tenants seriously and go out of their way to help in any type of situation.

Charleston Apartment homes is absolute best place to live in mobile. we are pleased with the complex, the amenities and the staff.The appartments are in excellent condition , the staff does a wonderful job taking care of each unit and responds in an extremely efficient manner if there are maintenance issues. There is plenty of parking and pool is beautiful and relaxing and noise level is almost zero, it feels like home.

Parking and parking enforcement is only issue.
Other then that they are great. Best swimming pool, future gathering spot coming in area hands down.
They do social partnering events within guidelines and still awesome.
Back to parking Let’s pay a higher price parking pass to maintain.No pass no park, get towed..

I lived here for 2 months and had to move out due to a bug infestation in the apartment which I let the maintenance department know about since day one with no response. I also went to the front desk and nothing was done. My apartment looked nothing like the model I was shown inside needs updates for example, my master bathroom shower never had any… water pressure , leak in the kitchen that caused the floor to flood the first month I was there . The maintenance department cut out a huge portion of the wall and two months later had never returned to finish the job. Lastly, they had to run
