Clark Flatt created the Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) after his 16-year-old son Jason committed suicide in 1997. The mission of JFI is to raise awareness and provide communities with tools to help erase the presence of youth suicide. JFI has created a curriculum for students and a number of seminars for teachers, parents, and other adult community members to benefit from.
