Services
We have a long tradition of compassionate childcare, as evidenced by the continued relationships with former staff and children. Little People's College seeks to provide families with a family friendly preschool and childcare environment that is responsive to the needs of our community. Our goal is for each family's experience at Little People's College to be a rewarding and enriching one.
Our infant care provides a cozy and nurturing sleep environment, following safety regulations and prevention of SIDS. Individual sleeping areas are equipped with a mobile or music box, providing babies with a comfortable, relaxing musical experience. Children are in their cribs ONLY when napping. We have our own custom-made changing tables located near running water.
Toddlers seem to have an endless supply of energy as they learn many important skills throughout the day. Toddler rooms are separated into small interest areas because toddlers enjoy small spaces. It is also the time to conquer that all-important task - potty training. Toddlers love to zoom their trucks along primitive roadways constructed with large, easy to maneuver blocks.
Every day in our preschool programs is a new learning adventure. Our floor plans are strategically designed to allow for quiet areas, as well as those that enhance and extend play. We encourage independence by teaching children to self-serve meals, and to put on their own coats and hats. Children are taught to think, reason, experiment and formulate their own ideas.
