Located in the heart of Chappaqua, Cognitive Behavioral Psychology Services is a specialized mental health practice serving children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of adjustment, transitional, and mental health issues. Dr. Gleacher uses evidence-based (research-based) treatment, predominately cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to assist clients and families in overcoming and coping with issues that are occurring in their lives and causing interference.
Dr. Gleacher is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, mood, behavior, and school-related difficulties utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques as well as other evidence-based treatment techniques.Dr. Gleacher works collaboratively with her clients, as well as their families, schools, and other providers as necessary.

Previously, Dr. Gleacher worked as a senior psychologist with the Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Research in White Plains, NY. She has also held faculty positions at New York University Child Study Center and Columbia University.
Dr. Gleacher is still a voluntary faculty member at New York University Child Study Center where she works with the IDEAS Center and the NYS Evidence Based Treatment Dissemination Center conducting trainings and consultation with clinicians across the state in Evidence-Based Treatments for children and adolescents.

The first step in the treatment process is the accurate assessment and identification of the emotional and behavioral problems that the client is experiencing, treatment goals, and specific treatment recommendations. Dr. Gleacher uses a combination of interview, and self- and parent-report measures.
Dr. Gleacher has been providing large and small group trainings on Evidence-Based Treatment Interventions including Cognitive Behavior Therapy for over 17 years. She provides trainings to individual mental health practitioners, physicians, and schools and teachers.
She offers a large variety of trainings and models to meet each individual practitioner or agencies needs from short hour-long trainings on relevant mental health issues to longer more intensive multi-day training on treatment interventions.Dr. Gleacher also provides ongoing consultation to professionals sometimes as part of an intensive training or for their own skill development in CBT and EBTs.
