Dr Green was recently interviewed regarding his new book on the radio show, "Finding Out with Peter and Ellen." We make hundreds of decisions each day-big ones, small ones-and many occur outside of our awareness. How many of you actually plan to blink your eyes or smile at someone you recognize? Or scratch your head?

Yet, too often we learn to become choice-phobic. We just can't seem to decide! And the only thing we know for certain is that we are not sure. This is true whether it's about something as simple as what to order for dinner, or about matters that contain larger contingencies and affect others such as what car to buy, or whether or not to seek new employment, or, having done so, whether or not to accept a job that was offered.

He addresses a variety of limitations including: anxiety, depression, marital difficulties, children's learning and emotional problems such as divorce, ADD, ADHD and Learning Disabilities; phobias and other stress-related difficulties and addictions, to name a few.The ground of your experience is the position held within the body at the micro-muscular level.
Welcome to Creative Solutions, a Center for learning, and discovering the person you are becoming as your life unfolds. Dr. Randy W. Green, Director, is a New York State Licensed Psychologist and member of several professional organizations: The American Psychological Association, The National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, The Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Applied Behavioral Technologies.
Whether you come from the Poughkeepsie area -- or anywhere else in Dutchess County--with a desire to enhance your marriage, help your child calm down, pay attention and improve school grades; become a more effective communicator, a 'peak-performer' at work, develop self-confidence, eliminate depression, anxiety or bouts of panic-- or for any other reason, initially, the focus of our work will surprise and delight you.
The Mythoself Process is a model about who you are. It is a remarkable transformational opportunity for those who embrace it. The key is coming to a position within yourself where your system comes to "rest"; where what is outside of you-- your possessions, your relationships, your career, your performances of any kind-- are just simply things to be doing!
Are these the sort of words that go through your head when a professional has diagnosed your child or significant adult for that matter with either ADD or ADHD?: Is this what you got out of all the time and expense you've invested in school meetings, testing and a variety of medications that were prescribed?

This psychologist is great for ADHD kids and family therapy. I took off one star because his insurance policy (billing/reibursement) is awful, but if you can affod him- well worth the $

I had one appointment with Dr. Green. It wasn't unpleasant, he seems perfectly capable and experienced. However, the care he provides (by his own admission) isn't traditional psychotherapy. In the hour we spent on the phone, a quarter of it focused on getting payment sorted out and the rest was him talking me through a set of physical and mental exercises. There was also a plug for his book in there. Very little talking on my part, and multiple interruptions when I did try getting into my history. That's not what I was looking for, but I said I would try things his way and set a second appointment

A friend of mine said he saved their marriage, so I decided to work with Dr. Green. During the past three months, my relationship with my husband has improved vastly! I think it has to do with his unusual style, which targets change, meaning outcomes you want. But he totally has changed the way we relate to each other. And he also helped my son last spring improve his grades in the final marking period. I think it had to do with teaching him confidence. He is very patient, but doesn’t coddle you and tells it like it is-- a refreshing change from other people we’ve seen, who don’t say very
