Dr Tepp has been our parental coordinator for 5 years. I am very disappointed with how he has chosen to handle our co-parenting situation. I chose him based on his educational background. Things seem to start out ok but then my sons mother started to book sessions with him separately from our sessions together. This was not supposed to happen according to an agreement we had. When questioned about this, Dr Tepp became angry (?) and demanded that he knew best and we were not to question his authority. Can you imagine a doctor acting like this? He seems to have a "God" complex. After over a year

You know what, imma finish this review after court is finished because this sorry excuse for a psychologist seems to be against my family
Edit: don't play dumb, I'm the 15 year old alex that you interviewed in like december. Don't use that excuse as a reason to not listen to people that you clearly know you've talked to and negatively affected. You blind sociopath

My child has been a patient of Alan Tepps for roughly four years. Dr. Tepp has been nothing short of compassionate and helpful. His staff is helpful with setting up appointments and payments. I was upset to see the negative reviews about him; and while I cannot speak to any one else’s personal experience, I feel the need to put a good word in. In my experience, Dr. Tepp has proven to be intelligent, while also making himself relatable to my child. Alan strikes a great balance of professionalism and also holding all the people in the sessions (my child, myself, other family members etc.) accountable

So many negative reviews about him and i can understand someone was upset about his practice but when a mom has lost a child due to his practice people need to take notice....i was a patient and he is the worst!!! he is corrupt and will take any type of payout and will overcharge you..... New York Office of the Professions should revoke his license ...not sure why they still allow him to practice however it is what it is ... our life will go on and hope you can all benefit from this review.

Alan Tepp is a wonderful clinician. He has helped my son through, and continues to do so, a very difficult time in his life. Dr. Tepp always makes himself available, even if we need guidance between his weekly sessions. It is clear he really cares for his patients. His staff is also extremely helpful in scheduling appointments and helping with insurance issues. I am so happy we found him and i would recommend him to anyone looking for a wonderful child psychologist.
