Services
The RAMIREZ TOW story begins in 1958 with Rudy Ramirez AAA Towing when Steve Ramirez began working as a teenager with his Dad, Rudy, and developed the professionalism and work ethic that continues to this day. Steve purchased the company name and its medium-duty wrecker from his Dad in 1977. Two years later, Ramirez Towing, Inc. was incorporated in Suisun City, CA, with Steve and his wife, Kathy, keeping the operations running smoothly.
As you can imagine, the definition of medium-duty towing falls into the range between light-duty (vehicles with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 10,000 pounds) and heavy-duty towing. Some companies may overestimate their abilities and think they can haul medium type loads, but in reality the conditions have to be completely perfect, and the roads clear of traffic for this to happen.
Thanks to more than 45 years of experience in specialty and heavy-duty towing, we know what we're doing. Our team can just as easily tackle a tractor-trailer as we can haul a school bus or concrete pumper. That experience has been gained, and also proven equally as useful, with some of the unusual pieces of equipment we've been asked to deal with such as monster cranes and reel trucks.

TERRIBLY RUDE!!!
Jeff Ramirez is a very nice man. Whomever he has working for him, whether it be family or not, this male was EXTREMELY RUDE to me. I requested a tow and he told me he couldn't get to me for the next 2 hours. My response was, "I waited a tow truck for 4 hours, so 2 hours is not a problem." The male told me he would contact me when the driver was on his way (that did NOT happen). I ran an errand 20 minutes later and I'm getting phone calls the tow truck driver is at my house. I couldn't come back home at this point. When I got home, I called the office.

I recently worked with Wendy and the team at Ramirez Tow, and I cant tell you how pleased I have been with their service!
They worked to help us resolve a tricky customer situation remotely from Iowa.
They made a tough situation easier to handle, and I was glad our issue ended up in their laps instead of a less reputable company.

Due to late night tire blowouts on WB HWY80 my college daughters car was left in a nearby parking lot until I could get there to help the next day. While I was driving the 70 miles to the car location my husband called Ramirez Tow & they said to call once we were 10-15 min away & they'd meet us at the location. I only was at the car 5 min when the driver showed up to assist! The driver (Aaron I believe) was extremely kind, well spoken & helpful. He quickly took the needed information & said to head over to my tow destination and he'd meet me there. It was the easiest

Back in July, my truck broke down on the side of WB80 in Fairfield, towing a horse trailer with horse inside. (Crap!!) Ramirez Tow arrived quickly, carefully loaded my truck and trailer, and safely towed us all the way back to Moss Beach. My driver, Gene, was sweet and professional, and I could tell we were in good hands through a potentially nerve-wracking situation.
Furthermore, Wendy in the office was wonderful in getting me all the paperwork needed to submit for AAA reimbursement. When my AAA request was denied, she even went out of her way to help me through a workaround that was successful

On a Business level, we use and/or recommend Ramirez Tow frequently. They always do everything they can to accommodate their customers. They are knowledable, and honest. Have never had a bad experience with Ramirez Tow in the 15+years we have done business with them. On a personal level, I or my family have known the Ramirez family all our lives, and the entire family are good hardworking, honest people, whom I would have no problem recommending to you.

I was recently locked out of my vehicle in a parking garage. I called my insurance company State Farm (Agent Barros-Ortiz in Vacaville) who called Ramirez Towing to come unlock my vehicle. Within 15 minutes there was a driver at the garage and within 3 minutes he had my vehicle unlocked. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The driver took extreme caution as he he unlocked my door with a jimmy. Very old school but very effecient. 5 STARS :)
