This place is great. I have just bought a ‘96 Smoker Craft Pro Alaskan. I brought my boat into another shop before this Covid-19 craziness. They tore apart my both my motors, went out of business and then called me and said “hey we can’t continue the work.”
I then brought it to Sound Marine Repair and they took care of everything fairly quickly. No BS, no cutting corners, just Simple and to the point. I will for sure be going here for now on for all my boating needs. Thanks guys!

After spending $1000 the entire summer at another marine repair shop that could not fix the problem with my outboard motor, Sound Marine was recommended to me. I called Larry and he said no problem, bring it in. Larry and his technician ran a full service check on spark, compression, ignition and fuel and then Larry and I took it for a test run. He determined that it was the trigger assembly and fixed it plus rewired some problem areas and adjusted the bucket on the jet pump. Took it for another test run and it runs perfectly. Very good customer service, friendly stand-up guys. They were very fair
