I love love love BRP! All the instructors are friendly, helpful and clear with direction. I love that the machines are easy to use and at the end of class I always feel I got in a great workout- leaving me feeling stronger and with a more clear head. I highly recommend, regardless of whether you're a beginner or more advanced, you can adjust the springs.

Body Rock Pilates is one of my favorite places...I live in Cypress and make the effort to drive to the Heights for class!
I started going here awhile back and more since I been pregnant. The instructors are all super knowledgeable and offer plenty of alternative options for all stages of pregnancy, plus it’s all low intensity but burns like no other.
They offer intro packages so you can before you buy. You won’t regret it!

Body Rock has incredible instructors and a variety of classes so you never get bored. There's also a free kids' hangout space that is really cool. Love this place and how the classes are challenging but doable. I've done reformer classes for 20 years and this is the best studio I've found in Houston. The music is also really good so the time flies. Highly recommend!

I am SO happy I found this studio! Dana and her crew are amazing. I've been coming here for 7 weeks (on average 3/week) and have lost 9 lbs and 2 jeans sizes!! I am way more toned, look longer and leaner, and my clothing now fits better than ever. The instructors are fun and beyond helpful and the workouts challenging. I've yet to have the same workout twice. Whatever your fitness goal is, you can achieve it here so go check it out!!

I found this place through ClassPass. It's a smaller studio but the workout space is more than enough. The instructors are always so encouraging and push me to put in my best each and every class. The acoustics are kind of bad but the instructors get on a machine to show you each maneuver so I never felt lost or confused. They also come by and assist with form to make sure you are working out safely. The studio is clean and well maintained. Love this place!

Body Rock was the very first Pilates class I ever took and that was in 2015! I have been a loyal customer and absolutely love their machines and the staff. Everyone is so helpful and friendly and the studios are very clean! The workout is AMAZING and leaves every muscle shaking like crazy! I'm always burning lots of calories at Body Rock and love the Oak Forest location because it's so convenient and easy to get to. Lots of parking and the class schedule is nice for working moms and SAHM too! If you are looking to shake up your exercise routine, go to Body Rock!

First of all this studio is not closed. It's a little difficult to see as the studio is behind a bunch of trees. I tried out their 3 session trial each time with Anne.
I enjoyed her playlist most sessions (especially when she did Latin). She does the workout with you mostly which is okay but she should be visible I think at all times to the entire class...so when our back is facing her, she should probably move so we can see her.
The studio requires you to wear socks so bring your own or purchase for $16. They let me borrow some the first time I went.
I wish the studio had windows and

Beware! Bought a class to check it out -- when scheduling, it site says to call the studio. Called for a week and their vm is full. Emailed too and nothing. So, drove by there, and there's a huge "for lease" sign out front. AND, they took my $30 for the class. Just called cc and in dispute. Not cool.

As a chiropractor, I am extremely picky about what type of workout I do and how I am instructed to do it. Body Rock Pilates is the perfect workout to get you in shape without being too stressful on your joints or spine. On top of that, ALL of the instructors are amazing and very knowledgable in their field. I cannot recommend them enough and I send my patients there frequently!

I love Body Rock. The instructors are so welcoming and it's a great workout. It's good for all levels, and the instructors know how to gauge your skills and offer modifications as necessary. I was always scared to try "reformer Pilates" because the machines scared me, but it's so much fun and the only workout I've ever actually stuck with!

It was my first time visiting and doing Pilates, the staff seemed very uninterested in creating guest experience or connection. The instructor Dani seemed clearly frustrated with the fact that I didn't know how to use the reformer and made me feel bad for not knowing what I was doing calling me out every chance she got. I contemplated walking out and remember that I went there to get in a good sweat so pushed through the class. Would not recommend going if you are a beginner.

I'm not a stranger to barre or pilates but reformer workouts are a new thing for me. I appreciate the small class size as it allows for attention to form and direction from the instructor. Each workout is a variation which keeps it interesting. I haven been attending classes for almost a month now and I can tell a big difference in my endurance to persist with the workouts, my form, strength and flexibility. I have back problems so I appreciate the core work and low impact design.
Overall, it's a great place to get a good work out and engage muscles you didn't even know you had

If you love pilates, you MUST try Body rock! I've tried a ton of pilates studios in Houston through Classpass, but Body Rock is my absolute favorite pilates studio in Houston (Defy's a close second). I've been going consistently for over a year, and I love it more and more.
The reformer is the most up to date that I've seen at a pilates studio. The studio space is so spacious, clean feeling, and bright.
Dave is a gem of an instructor! He gives you corrections to help improve your form in a way that isn't embarrassing and really improves the quality of your workout. He

I've loved having a Pilates reformer studio in this area since I've been home for the holidays! The front desk staff is always friendly when you walk in and are happy to show you around the studio on your first visit.
As for the actual class, every time I've visited the class has been a little bit different which is nice because I like to mix it up with my workouts! I've found the classes to be challenging but more manageable than some other studios in the city. Additionally, the instructors always offer modifications if you want to take it up a notch. Class sizes are small

Such a great class! I have been going for over a year and each class is just as fun and effective as the last. It's really hard for me to find a class and stick to it (I get bored, unmotivated, don't like the instructors etc.). Body Rock is a winner! All the instructors are attentive, not scared to correct your form and I love all the workouts.
Extra pros: there's always fun music playing so who doesn't love that? Parking space in front and a parking lot next door (convenient) and the space itself is clean and open.
I mostly just take Allison's class now - she's

Great pilates workout! Good use of the machines and we fit in a lot of exercises in the 50 minutes of class. This is a good workout for toning, core work, and legs/lower body. The instructors are nice and, for the most part, will walk around and give you corrections/modifications if needed.
The studio has an orange door and is right behind Pink's pizza (I missed it the first time coming to the studio). There's a parking lot to the right of the studio as well as a few spots in the front of the studio.

Been here one time and loved it! The workout was tough and the instructor was very helpful to make sure we were doing this exercise correctly. I would recommend anyone new to Pilates or looking for a good and low impact exercise. The place is clean and the reformers are new and great condition.
Pros:
Great workout
Great high end studio
Machine is in great condition
Cons:
Parking is sketchy as you have to park in the next door shopping center parking lot

More like a 4.5 -
I've been on a reformer pilates kick recently, and Body Rock is the second studio I've tried. I definitely prefer the other studio more, but Body Rock is a close second.
I enjoy the small classes, and the instructors are all very friendly. I find that they're more strict on your form (which is a good thing) and all of them look like they came out of a magazine. More motivation for us, right?
The reasons why I prefer the other studio are:
- half of my classes at Body Rock started a few minutes late..these classes are pricey, so it's annoying
- signing up

I live in Chicago but was traveling to Houston nearly weekly for the past year. I went to a number of studios around Houston while I was in town...Body Rock is by far the best studio I tried!
Chicago has a good amount of studios with "amped-up" pilates reformer classes. This type of class has become my favorite over the past few years. I went into Body Rock with the expectation that the class would be similar to the studios in Chicago I go to and they did not disappoint.
I found classes here to be challenging. Instructors were friendly, clear and receptive to the needs of those

You want Pilates in Houston, this is the place to go! I was a member for about 1.5 years until I moved.
This studio cannot be replaced and believe me I have tried in various cities to find the energy that lives in this studio.
While in Houston I would work 10-12 hour days and the last thing I wanted to do was exercise. Pilates is great because you are using the reformer machine and your own weight to exercise. It is not insanely intense and you get maximum results!
I miss this studio and would recommend anyone wanting to try Pilates for the first time or the student that lives by weekly Pilates
