I loved the Warm Your Soul class with Alyssa! I'm very much looking forward to trying out the Vin & Yin class as well. Also can't give enough praise for the "Off the Mat Mondays" emails. They always have a great message and somehow the universe seems to line them up to just when you need to hear it!
I love the feel of the studio, it is so beautiful and peaceful and I am so happy to be able to practice in person. Love Ishia's class and always get a great workout, feel challenged and can extract a little something to apply to my everyday life. I love these virtual classes from Alma Yoga! They are fun and addicting!

I can’t say enough good things about this studio. I started doing yoga back in June for the first time in my life and I’m so thankful to have come across this place. The instructors are awesome and genuinely care … they will help you with alignment but will also remind you to honor your body❤️ If you’re looking for a place to practice, this is it!

I had been doing yoga at home for about two years and hadn't really been interested in going to classes for yoga, let alone warm or hot yoga, since I thought that would be too sweaty and uncomfortable. Finally a friend talked me into it and now I wish I would have gone sooner. The instructors at Alma yoga are incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. The whole vibe at Alma is wonderful and I surprisingly LOVE the warm and hot classes. Not only do the classes make you feel like you are doing something great for your physical health, it helps bring such a powerful sense of peace and connection

Ignore the bad reviews. Been going for a few months now and love this yoga studio. I tend to get bored with yoga doing the same movements over and over but these people keep it fresh, have a lot of variety/interesting poses/flows, and awesome music. I also like the mental/ emotional work at the beginning and end of each class that is helpful without being too crunchy or cheesy. Rad group of girls teaching here.

Very nice , clean studio. Staff was friendly . This was one of my first yoga classes . I went to the flow and let go class which was for all levels . I had some difficulty following with the class at times but overall it was a good class. Mats, blocks, pillows are provided if needed. One class was $18 . There are two separate studios in the same shopping center just make sure you go to the right one .

I recently moved to Newburgh and was looking for a new yoga studio and Alma had a great new student deal - unlimited classes for $35 - so I decided to give it a try. Within a week I was hooked and have been going almost every day. I've since purchased a year long package because they had a deal around the holidays. I have been picky about yoga classes in the past, but all the teachers I've met at Alma have been amazing and there is a wonderful vibe to the place. I love both the regular classes and warm classes (which I never thought I would!). I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful

I love alma yoga. Really a great vibe. Excellent teachers. They are welcoming to all students. I took my first hit class there and was hooked! My flexibility of body and mind have truly improved since beginning my practice. I don't live locally but every time I am in Newburgh I always make time to visit Alma. Convenient , easy to find location.

I did not want to like this place, and I'm not sure why other then loyalty to my own yoga teacher. I will say that I enjoyed it thoroughly. The class was an hour and 15 minutes and it was fluid. It was gentle, and I felt that every bone in my body was duly stretched. The instructor came by to make sure that I was doing a pose correctly and reminded us to listen to our bodies not to her if something was uncomfortable.
For those of you here in this area that are interested in yoga, this is a great place to start. It seemed judgment free, and beginners could blend.
Studio B would be my choice

Absolutely obsessed with this place. I joined as a new student a month ago (they have this awesome deal where it's $35 for your first month, unlimited classes). Sadly mine expired a couple days ago and I cannot renew because it's too expensive for me (I'm a student). However, I would recommend this place one million times over.
The facility is perfectly clean and fresh smelling, classes always start on time, they do not overbook the amount of students per class, and the instructors are absolutely amazing. I am a fitness instructor as well and the amount of professionalism and care

Terrible! I had attended for years Yoga class's in the past and was now returning to it.
I was standing on line as was 6 other people to sign in running 5 min late.
The instructor came out yelled at everyone" you are late and making everyone wait and it wont happen again"
As you can imagine we where all taken back by her outburst.
My daughter and I decided to go ahead with the class and not let her ruin our day.
The class was fast paced and felt more new trend American than traditional Yoga.
No importance on how to breathing properly and the importance of the alignment of the spine while

Alma yoga is my favorite yoga studio. Each instructor approaches each class differently always keeping it interesting and challenging. There are always different level variations and styles to choose from everyday. The atmosphere is always friendly and fun. I have never had a bad experience, have been attending frequently over a year. I have been to many other yoga studios across the US and Alma stands highest in my ranking!

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Alma Yoga. I've been to many yoga studios, mostly in Manhattan. The philosophy, wisdom and genuine love (including SELF love) expressed by each teacher is palpable. This studio and its teachers are magic! Each time I go, I depart feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, pleasantly exhausted and thankful. Do yourself a favor and just go!

I went to Alma yoga for the first time today. Ishia, the instructor, was very knowledgeable and focused. I have been sleeping on a futon for the past 2 weeks and my back was killing me. My back felt much better by the end of the class and continued to improve throughout the afternoon. Thank you, Ishia!!!

Alma yoga is perfect for anyone looking to live a healthier life! I had done yoga for many years and gotten too busy the last few however Alma made it easy to return with evening times, a variety of instructors, and an awesome studio. Scheduling classes is even convenient with their great app. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to feel great physically and spiritually. :)

Consider yourself lucky if you live close to this gem of a yoga studio. The owner continues to deliver the best teachers in the area. Studio is spotless, comfortable and thoughtful. The upstairs meditation room is the perfect place to spend the entire winter in! Check our their "goodnight yogi" class on Monday nights. You will have a hard time driving home after this class, it's that good.

I am a 47 year old out of shape female. I was looking for a new exercise option that would help manage my stress issues. Alma Yoga opened in this location, which is very convenient. I came in for the Basic Yoga course and was worked more that i had ever been worked in a gym setting.
7 months later and i am still coming back. I have tried the various classes and instructors and find each challenging and different, which keeps me from being bored. After an hour, i feel like i have accomplished something and feel that stress has been alleviated. I find i sleep better.
