My name is Crystal Carfagno and I'm the proud owner and founder. My love for dance started when I was three years old. I was very fortunate that my local dance training afforded me the opportunity to turn my love for dance into a professional career. I had the honor of dancing for both the NBA's Washington Wizards and the NFL's Washington Redskins for four years.

When I first started dancing at Showcase I was uncoordinated and inflexible, but I was determined to change that because I had a passion for dance. The teachers and staff at Showcase were supportive and encouraging throughout every stage of my growth. I graduated last year and I am now majoring in dance at JMU, which would not have been possible without Showcase. We absolutely love Showcase! The teachers and staff are professional and caring. There is a great variety of classes. Information is consistently shared with parents. If I do have questions, they are answered almost immediately. My daughter has felt like a member of the Showcase family from day one by her fellow dancers, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Meg, and all the other amazing teachers and staff!

In March when everything started cancelling and closing they could have easily cancelled our daughter's ballet lessons and done partial or no refunds and been done with it.
... but they didn't.
In like no time at all they transitioned the whole studio to distance dancing. It wasn't some botched half-hearted attempt either. Nope. Quickly the living room became "hair bun-zone" once a weak.
We got clear instructions. Our dancer got almost the same level of quality training. The video classroom technology was managed professionally and it was obvious that they had provided the dance teachers with

My three year old just started here in the tippy toes ballet class with Miss Andrea. She LOVES it! A good teacher really makes a big difference and Miss Andrea is amazing with the kids! My oldest went somewhere else at the same age and didn’t enjoy it nearly as much. The studio is also very clean and nice and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend!

Hello! I wanted to take the time to talk about how much Showcase Dance Studio impacted my life. I started dancing here when I was nine years old, and kept going up until I graduated. Not only did the studio provide proper dance education for me, but also a second home. I’ve made so many friends and connections through dancing here that are still in my life today. Showcase is where I created friendships with all of my best friends! The studio has such a family feeling to it, I always felt included even when I was new to the studio. I love that my children learn to love themselves here, know this is their home away from home, and can express themselves through dance. My son came home from hip hop class and showed us a dance move while saying, "slide...I love myself, slide...I love myself." It not only melted me as a mother, it showed me that Showcase truly cares about their dancers and I could not be more happy! I also love that everything is age-appropriate and the amount of opportunities the studio offers to give back to the community is so heartwarming. We love Showcase!

We are new to Showcase this year and are so glad we found the studio! My daughters' teachers are nurturing and fun, while still teaching proper technique and a strong work ethic. I especially love the studio's values to put family first and use age-appropriate choreography and music. I also found the tuition to be more affordable than other studios I researched, without sacrificing quality. We're excited for the year ahead!

I'm a new dance mom and I'm highly impressed with the facility and staff at Showcase! My daughter took a summer session at another dance studio that hands down, does not compare to this place. The instructors are excited to teach and can provide a more one on one instruction since most of the younger classes have student assistants. I use to dance here as well as being on the competition team, and I only have good things to say about it. The owner, Crystal is one of the most professional studio directors I know. The studio I kept extremely clean and all the teachers are well qualified.
This is in no way a ballet specialized studio; however showcase provides excellence in technique.
