Services
At PowerWorx, we believe that competition is one of the most effective ways to build skill, determination, and leadership. The PowerWorx Competition Team is an intensive dance program for students who excel and thrive in a more competitive dance atmosphere. The program requires a disciplined, hard-working dancer who is willing to devote many hours to work on technical skill in a team environment.
The goal of the Power Performers is to provide outside performance opportunities for dancers from ages 3-18 at all levels in order to further their dance education and performance skills, as well as supporting our local community. It also allows dancers to spend more time in the studio working on technique and performance quality.
Acrobatics ("Acro") is the artistic use of flexibility and tumbling components often to music. The classes focus on strength, body control, conditioning and flexibility. The foundation for all dance, our ballet classes focus on the classical techniques and use of terminology. PowerWorx Dance ballet classes will include barre, center floor work, flexibility and across the floor combinations.
Founded in 2016 by Sarah Welz, PowerWorx Dance (PWD) is a Northern Virginia-based Dance studio that focuses on each dancers' development, growth and confidence. PWD provides dancers of all ages and all levels with a studio home that puts each dancers personal development first, enabling them to grow in a positive and constructive environment.

PowerWorx Dance is truly the best dance studio around. With the talented and creative staff, and amazing ownership, dancers who want to progress, and perform with confidence & beautiful technique should most certainly come to PowerWorx. I have been with many of these teachers since my kids were little, and would not choose to be elsewhere. I am so happy PowerWorx has provided my girls with such a special place to spend the many hours that they choose to spend dancing!! #ignitethepower
