Have been going here for months. I would highly recommend if you are interested in trying or looking for an Asian bakery (Chinese). I will say if you can, try to go earlier in the day or not a Sunday because I have noticed that the place has certain late hours some days where you get the leftover pickings and they taste more dry. However most of the time this is not the case. I also highly recommend trying their milk teas, the owner claims to be the first business in Pittsburgh to sell it. And I believe it! They're delicious and more flavorful (less watered down) than many other bubble tea

This place is epic. I got a very good mochi taro bun. They put the mochi inside the bun!! My partner got a pineapple matcha bun that was so good they almost cried. They also got a hot dog green onion bun that was very good. I got the curry green onion bun which was fine but didn't have much pizzazz.

I like the curry croissants, egg tarts, and cake slices. However, unlike other bakeries, the goods do not seem that fresh. The egg tart crusts and croissants are all very soggy. I've seen some frozen/refrigerated curry bread pulled out. You have to stick them in the toaster oven at home before eating so they taste good. For the other stuff, if it is 1-3 days old, you can't tell as much. However, it's is the only place you can find curry bread. The variety of egg tart styles is great though. One if the ladies that helped me was pretty rude. I was standing in line and she let a Chinese-speaking customer

This place is an absolute gem. They are always so kind and their pastries are delicious. I like both their savory and sweet buns. My favorites are probably the Japanese cotton cheesecake, green tea and red bean bun, coconut raisin pastry, pudding buns, red bean bun, and butter cream buns, but I haven't had one that I don't like. My husband really likes the red bean and mochi bun. The red bean is sweet and has a great texture.
We bought a whole Japanese cotton cheesecake for our one year wedding anniversary from here and it turned out spectacular. We come here about once a week for fresh bread

We had a most delicious & light and fluffy taro cake to celebrate Chinese New Year. It was beautifully decorated with fresh berries on top. Taro flour is gluten free, but I'm not certain if the entire cake is gluten free? You'd have to inquire. The inside of the cake was light & fluffy and the cream and icing not too sweet at all. Perfect! If you haven't tried desserts from a Chinese bakery, Pink Box is your chance!

I am putting in a cake order for my housemate's birthday! He loves coffee cake so I ordered a 10 inch coffee cake for $60. I am placing the order a week ahead of time. They took my credit card information over the phone, along with what words I wanted written on it.
Let's see how this goes!
Okay! I went to Pink Box and picked up the cake no problem, just by using the phone number I ordered with. They had beautifully written happy birthday Spencer on the cake in pink icing, like requested.
It was so creamy and smooth and silky. The coffee taste was light and fluffy. I highly recommend

Stopped in to get a few things for a mini Olympics party (Taiwanese is close enough to Korean for us). Desserts and savory options were both very tasty and the bubble tea was a big hit. My only suggestion is to label each food item so that when things are eaten at home, you know what you're eating and can reorder it again.
