Services
The John Marshall Alumni Association is a non-profit, 501c(3), organization dedicated to supporting John Marshall High School, its faculty, students and alumni. We promote, finance, organize and participate in functions and events that contribute to the core values of education both academically and socially.
A new feature, the Alumni Plaza, will be located on the Viola St. side, near the student entrance. Several original granite steps will provide three rows of seating, with rows of red brick pavers interspersed between them. You can leave your mark and become a permanent part of the new school. This is a great opportunity to pay tribute to a past JMHS graduate, a teacher, yourself, or your family.
The General Fund provides for the general operation of the Alumni Association including the publishing of the Alumni News, maintaining the Alumni Database, and funding Association events. The Endowment Fund is primarily for scholarships for graduating seniors and possibly for funding activities at the school such as sending various groups of students to competitions throughout the country.
The John Marshall Alumni Association Endowment Fund was created to support the scholarship program as well as other educational opportunities. To learn how you can support the Fund, download our Giving Fact Sheet. Congratulations to Amber Tucker, recipient of The Robert E. Almquist Memorial Scholarship, $1125 with a one time renewal in 2013.
Most importantly, please consider supporting your Alumni Association financially. There is a donation form on line and one is included in every newsletter. Your support makes it possible to continue the programs established by your Trustees. We encourage anyone who wants to help with the work to contact us.
