Founded in 1941 by "Red" Rees, Jerry Siegmyer, and Lee Bailey, The Parma Senior High School Alumni Association has been in continuous operation for over 70 years. In its infancy, the organization held dances to raise funds and to provide a venue for classmates to reconnect socially.

Parma, Ohio, was one of the nation's fastest growing communities in the 1950s and, as the suburb grew, two more high schools were built to accommodate the expanding student population.Initially, the alumni association tried to incorporate the three schools into one organization, but each school had its own identity, and, eventually, each school established its own alumni association.
Services
The PSHAA established the Bailey Bells Service award in 2006 to recognize alumni who have given more than ten years of service, in one way or another, to the alumni association. The award is named in memory of Lee Bailey, who was one of our founders and treasurer for 55 years. A plaque bearing the names of those so honored is displayed at the base of the school's bell tower.
Hall of Fame Inaugural Inductions 2017 Cynthia Fensel Hilling (1958) Cynthia has devoted her life to community service. She founded and directed Ridgewood Pre-School for 50 years. Cynthia has held leadership positions in the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Library, and Parma Hospital Foundation Board.
