Simply Pilates provides the highest standard of classical pilates training in the valley and adheres strictly to the principles of the method that Joseph Pilates himself created. Our studio is fully equipped with reformers, wall units, a cadillac, wunda and electric chairs, a pedipole, a baby arm chair, barrels, and various smaller pilates devices.
A one-on-one session with an instructor ensures that your individual needs and goals are met. Private sessions are required for new clients and are the best way to progress your pilates practice. Two to three clients work with one instructor. Although this is a group session, the instructor will individualize the session to meet each client's workout level and goals.
I've been coming to Simply Pilates for 5+ years and still look forward to every class! After injuring my back, my doctor recommended core strengthening workouts to prevent needing surgery. I turned to pilates (more specifically Amanda & Simply Pilates) and haven't looked back. I've tried other studios throughout Phoenix, but NONE compare to the individualized attention you receive here.

I've done all kinds of exercise programs: yoga, Bikram's yoga, land aerobics, water aerobics, tai chi, Feldenkrais Method, and more. Oddly, I never tried Pilates. Well, I hit the jackpot with this studio recommended by one of my good friends. I've had Amanda and Doug, both excellent!

Simply Pilates helped me avoid back surgery. In fact, my back pain has mostly disappeared thanks to Simply Pilates and my diet! Amanda and Rebecca are simply outstanding instructors and their relentless focus on form, technique and micro movements are perfect for my condition. I have been going to Simply Pilates in Scottsdale for 2 years, twice a week, and its working for me. As a very active senior, my spirits have never been higher and I feel great, physically and spiritually. My mantra is "WOW" -- working on wellness.

Simply Pilates is a simply amazing studio! Any praise that I could give Amanda and her team would be an understatement. I look forward to each class and I am always amazed at how quickly the hour passes. I have seen incredible results driven by Amanda's attention to detail, upbeat personality, and caring nature. I wish that I would have been introduced to Pilates 20 years ago.

I searched for five years to find a great Pilates studio here and man, oh man does this studio offer excellence. I almost hesitate to post a review because they are so,so good and I know how rare and wonderful that is. Attention to detail, mindful and heartfelt classes, teachers that care and pay attention, a welcoming vibe, and the telltale - I feel great, strong, empowered, aligned, and healthy. I really love how this group welcomes all ages, all levels but also holds a high level as a goal. Five stars plus

Over the past few years, I have suffered with serious lower back pain and knee issues due to extensive running over many years. When I found myself slowing down nearly all of my activity, I sought something that would help me yet not strain these areas of concern. Well? I found it and more! Rebecca has been instrumental in bringing me back to health. My back may ache on occasion but WOW what a change! I have been doing Pilates, individually and in group, with her for nearly three years! I have been doing Pilates for nearly 10 years and Amanda is the best instructor I have ever had. She cares about every student and is a master instructor. Her work outs have every student in mind and even in a group setting she will make sure the workout is individualized based on student needs. The other instructors in the studio are just as fantastic as she is. This is a judge free zone where everyone encourages others to be their best. Other studios in the valley seem clicky and competitive - that is not this studio!

Love the studio and instructors. Amanda was very accommodating and understanding of my needs as a client.
Studio is a bit on the smaller side compared to other studios I have seem but I am not looking to do laps in there so I don't really care. Its comfortable enough to fit the equipment and still not feel like you are on top of other people.
The only reason this is not a 5 star is because at times when you are trying to focus on your workout if theres a group class going on then that can be disruptive to your focus. Pilates can be very relaxing if you have the right environment.

I noticed Simply Pilates in passing and decided to finally commit to trying it. As a beginner I had a few questions which Amanda answered promptly via email. At the studio everyone was welcoming, nice and cheerful.
