Services
We have outlined our expectations in the documents below so that you are completely prepared upon arrival! If you have any questions prior to your visit, please do not hesitate to give us a ring. All top-rope belayers as well as lead belayers and lead climbers must pass a test given by a HAF staff member in order to be certified to climb at High Altitude Fitness.
You DO NOT need to know how to belay to climb at our facility. However, if you intend to climb with a partner, using the ropes, you will need to be belay certified. We offer six TRU BLU auto belay systems. See how they work here. Old shoes are fine to borrow; however, borrowing old safety gear including harnesses, ropes and carabiners or belay devices are not recommended.
Basic land training skills: push-ups, crunches, lunges, pull-ups, proper form, Team building games and activities. Previous climbing knowledge required. USA Climbing Competitions are optional. A member of Team Flash Training League (TFTL) wants to progress at their technical climbing skills. TFTL is aimed at progressing a climber's ability as a lifestyle climber or as one that seeks to be competitive on Team Flash.
This four day program is designed to fill the days with bouldering, top roping, and auto belays led by our knowledgeable and passionate staff who will help your child improve their climbing skills and athletic ability. Children will be exposed to the basics of climbing within a safe learning environment provided by High Altitude Fitness' enthusiastic climbing instructors.
There will be no cancellations for Spin and TRX classes. Since these classes open for registration 24 hours in advance of class time we anticipate members are committed and will attend the class. Therefore, if a member does not show up for class, a no show fee of $16 will be assessed. For group fitness classes please arrive at least five minutes before class.

I visited Incline Village in late July 2021. Did a week pass at High Altitude Fitness. Had no issues and it was reasonably priced at $45 bucks.
Really enjoyed the gym area and didn’t use any of the climbing area. Good machines / variety, nice free weights and cable machines.
Overall a great gym in North Lake Tahoe. Thank you
