Chuck went above and beyond with the inspection of a historic log cabin we are purchasing. Not only did he carryout our inspection, but he also brought an associate who is an expert in log cabins (with no additional expense to us despite an added expense on his part). Both inspectors were professional, efficient, and explained their findings as they noted them. It really made me appreciate the new home we were buying, giving me confidence in the purchase while allowing me to foresee any problems in the future. We are very pleased with Chuck Green and Granite Home Inspections. He arrived early and was ready to begin at 11 on the dot. He was friendly, thorough, and he took the time to walk us through all of his findings. He recommended additional resources (a structural engineer - shout out to Syed Qamer) when he thought we needed more information about our foundation. This potentially saved us thousands of dollars. Not to mention he got us on his schedule at late notice. 5 stars!

I found out that the inspector marked a lot of items as satisfactory during our inspection when in actuality they were poor and need to be replaced. One year later, we are now facing $10,000 in structural damage and repairs all because of something that home-owners knew about and covered up. I wished that Granite Homes had caught this as it would have been an easy catch and we would have never bought this house. My husband and I do not recommend Granite Homes LLC. Get someone who is younger and willing to get dirty and go above and beyond for your inspection or else you might be stuck with someone

I would highly recommend Granite Home Inspections to anyone. Chuck was very professional and thorough, and clearly stated what he could and could not do regarding the home inspection. He has a very sharp eye and was able to point out things that I never would have noticed. I was provided with a detailed written report of the inspection within 24 hours, and on the basis of this report, I was able to negotiate an additional $3,000 price reduction from the seller. Excellent job!

We were so pleased with Granite Home Inspections. First, our home inspection was able to be scheduled in a timely manner, within a few days upon request. The inspector was prompt, on time, and considerate; he even thought to bring chairs to sit on at the vacant home for our comfort.
